MemberAugust 25, 2017 at 6:33 pm in reply to: Hello! Anyone here who could help me with my training?Well my diet is not very on point. Just tryin to get my daily protein and carbs. I’m only 16 years old so I haven’t really been focusing on that. Yea I know I need a good and strict diet.
But here’s the deal, I recently switched my training routine to a new one. Where I do train off my percentages of my max lifts. So basically let’s say Monday is chest, shoulders, triceps.
So every Monday I do bench press, first week I did 80% of my max. The other week I did 85% and so on.
On Saturday it’s the last session of the 85%, and on Monday it will be going to the 90%. I don’t do more than 90%. After all these weeks are finished i do take a very very light week. But not to light, just like 70% of my maxes in the different movement. And also I try to take some more rest days. So after all a the percent weeks and the light week. I come to the week where I try to beat my Personal Bests. Like for now my bench press is at 90kg, and now I will try to beat it.And of course I do train more things than just the basic movement. So after the Monday’s bench press is done. I do the military press/ strict press. I also do percentages on that. The same way I do in the bench press. But then all the other exercises like skull crushers, dumbbell press, seated dumbbell shoulder press. I do not go with percentages there. But I do try to somehow make it different after each week. Like increasing a little weight, more reps. Or even more sets.
And also when it comes to this training I’ve been using like 2-3 sets per excersice. But sometimes even 4. But trying to keep it at 2-3. I hope you understood this long message haha????????????
