    My girlfriend got a ThinkFit one from Amazon and she swears by it, think it’ll depend how big your meals/tubs are but definitely worth a look at a decent price

    Sessions have been absolutely unreal since the introduction of more food, feeling stronger and like I’m training with intent! It’s class!!

    Rest day yesterday was much needed, I’ve never needed my rest days like I do at the minute.
    Push 1 later once Alice is done work, cannot wait!

    As above, you wouldn’t neglect your leg or arm training but so many people forget about their core or ab work. If for nothing else, doing some direct core work will help increase stability in your main lifts which in turn will improve your performance, I never ever did core training and ended up hurting my back during deadlifts because I was weak in that area. An added bonus of strengthening your abs/core is that when you’re lean, you’ll have thicker, maybe more defined abs, and who doesn’t want that? ?

    Happy Thursday All

    Today’s session went extremely well very happy!

    Strength is increasing week to week – I’ve been off assistance for 18 weeks and started the pull down with my prep. Things couldn’t be any better so I’m super happy!

    I don’t think the look is too shabby for all the variables above, still a little flat but things will start to pop a little more soon!

    Looking great Meg, looking forward to seeing you progress through this phase to see what you bring!

    Got up around mid day after night shift and felt unreal, felt very good, the increase in food is maybe playing it’s part already!
    First arms and delts session of the new rotation today, very good session!
    I’ll type it out since the first time I’ve done it:
    3 sets of chest support cable curls
    3 sets of lying cable skullcrushers
    3 sets of wide grip curls
    3 sets of dumbbell curls
    3 sets of close grip bench from pins (nasty)
    3 sets of standing Y raise
    3 sets of chest supported cuffed lat raises

    Last night shift tonight before days off, spending my downtime finishing off coursework and trying to get educated!

    Very low low today at 84.4kg
    Good rest day today before nightshift though, minus the bloody grass cutters waking me up at the crack of dawn ?
    HIIT done at work tonight, looking forward to my first ever arms and delts session tomorrow too!

    Legs ticked off! Was pretty disappointed with the smith squats, need to work on standardising them and not stop for so long at the top to get those couple of breaths in!! Banded the V squat up which was interesting and burny!! ?

    Late night tonight for nightshift tomorrow so a few rounds of Warzone with the boys should have me sleepy in no time!! Rest tomorrow which is nice, HIIT to do though!

    Good push session last night, first session of the new rotation, D handle cable flies were the only new addition but it was a good session to get me set up for an absolutely vile sounding leg session tonight.

    Will get HIIT done at work this morning, other than that it’s business as usual.

    I’ve found personally that if I have my opposite leg to what the side I’m pulling with I end up rotating too much when I progress to slightly heavier weights, ive definitely found a lot more stability through having the leg forward on the same side as I’m working.
    It might be personal preference though and finding what works for you!

    Finished off the last teaching weekend for the PT course yesterday so Father’s Day was very quiet and very chilled. Spent the day feeling very grateful and happy with where I’m at as a whole right now after my other half made a huge effort with my son to put up a banner, balloons and wee gift for me. Hope all the dads here had a good day too!

    Calories are up and training has been adapted to incorporate an arm and delts day as we aim for 2022 men’s physique. Looking forward to the first push session later tonight after work!

    Legs on Thursday was very good, we got a new Primal strength hack squat type thing delivered so had a play on that, discovered I can load it pretty fucking heavy, by my standards.

    Trained at one of Kuba’s clients gym yesterday, had a very good session there with some nice kit, high to low row being a personal favourite.
    Ally has decided we’re lean enough now to push back up as well so calories have been adjusted accordingly!

    In early for push this morning before another day on Zoom for the PT qual!
