Yesterday’s rest day started with 45mins of pre work cardio in the morning, before a day of training at work and then chilling on the couch with Alice in the evening!
Woke today at 85.5kg, a new low, and took my photos for Ally. Couple of weeks to go before we start growing again hopefully! Got my fitness test at work this morning followed by a day of classroom stuff then legs! Can hear the smith squats calling my name already -
Good morning guys and girls.
257 this morning, new prep low.
Today we pretty much begin driving things in a little more now. Feel great and very much ready to push on right now.
Today is a good day as @MeganSylvester also starts prep and she is looking like she has eaten her old self so happy days.
You guys are looking absolutely unreal! Looking forward to seeing the next package from you guys on stage man!

Shifted sessions about this week to be able to line them up with Kenny at the end of the week, a client of @kuba . Really looking forward to it!
Did posterior yesterday and had a good top set for RDL equalling last week’s reps which I’m more than happy with, Ally was happy too which is obviously what we’re after!
Did push tonight after work, it’s hard graft to get it done sometimes but I love it, the process is just an incredible journey!! Tomorrow we rest before we go again Thursday, legs, it’ll be a good one!!

3 days radio silence again!! I need to get better at this ?
Between studying, being on Zoom, chilling with the fam, training and now training at work, it’s been non stop!! Training has been very, very good, weight is falling, it’s all coming together nicely! Busy week planned this week but I’ll be trying to update the log every night after work

The days seem to be going so fast at the minute!! Both yesterday and today I woke at 86.2kg, expecting a drop this week for sure!
Took my check in photos for Ally yesterday, enjoying parts of my look at the minute, mainly from the back. The next gaining phase is going to be mega for my chest and shoulders, without a doubt my two weaker muscle groups.
Had a decent push session yesterday, trying to grind out the progress whenever it comes to push, today though I had posterior with RDLs and hip thrusts, two of my favourite movements, great session all round!
I’m on rest days from work at the minute so the rest of my day around training involves lots of sitting up recovering, eating and studying! -
As above, I’d do some thorough research first, if you’re not sure on the basics like how long a cycle should last etc then you’re not ready for a cycle imo. There’s lots of info here but there are other sources online that are reliable and educational, once you’ve done your research you need to ask yourself why you’re getting on, if you’ve reached your natural potential and if you’re aware of the risks etc

Definitely wait, if you’re gaining weight consistently I wouldn’t push any more until you’d plateaued and weight was holding, all you’ll end up doing is gaining at a faster rate and it’ll almost definitely not be all muscle, if any, you’ll be gaining

Woke yesterday after nightshift at 86.1kg, 86.3kg today.
Checked in with Ally yesterday again as we continue to come closer to the end of the dieting phase.BIG leg day yesterday, was fucking proud of my efforts and the fact I left the gym with absolutely nothing left!
The rest of the day consisted of a wee bit meal prep, school run, chilling with my little man before nightshift and running about in full kit. Feeling it today but the show must go on, slept to 1pm, cardio pre school run and pre final nightshift of the week! Tomorrow is push day and I’m ready! -
Outstanding pull session today, did 40 minutes of cardio at work last night and followed today’s workout with 30 minutes. Woke up after a decent sleep weighed 85.9kg! We’re into the 85s for the first time, that’s exciting!! Checking in with some photos tomorrow with Ally so we’ll see what he’s saying.
Nightshift 3 of 5 tonight, already looking to legs tomorrow! -
A new low today, back to back with yesterday, 86.2kg.
Didn’t get to bed after nightshift this morning, straight back on zoom at 9 for day 2 of my PT course, now I’m back at work. What a slog!! Looking forward to bed in the morning and training tomorrow afternoon. -
So yesterday was really chill during the day, did the school run in the morning and didn’t do a great deal else for the rest of the day apart from meal prep before training posterior in the evening. Decent set of RDLs, probably the one movement I think about most during the week.
Woke up today at my lightest weight so far, 86.4kg
Early push session this morning before a full day of Zoom for my PT qual then I’m off to nightshift! Disgusting ?

It’s been a few days since I updated, time is going so quickly at the minute! Between studying, setting up my coaching business, family time and shifts, it’s all go! I fucking love it though, feel like I’m actually growing, mentally, more than ever before! PT course starts officially this weekend which is exciting, two days on zoom around nightshifts isn’t so exciting mind. Going to need a lot of caffeine ?
Went out to the pub yesterday with the troops from work, had Diet Coke and was proud. I’ve never really liked the effect alcohol has on people, or myself, so gave it a wide berth and came home early for stir fry, a film with Alice and some more business bits!
Had push today at the gym, felt outstanding, recovery between sets has definitely taken a hit, feeling beat up between sets more than ever but I know that if I can grind through this stage I’m going to set myself up perfectly for the next growing phase!
Check in feedback from Ally tomorrow and I’ve a feeling we’re going to pull a few more calories or bump expenditure up, we’ll see! -
I’ve used cyclic for such a long time now with no issues, we just get the Bulk Powders stuff and have no complaints
-
Yeah as Clare says, it sounds like you’re in the ideal spot, not having to force food in and still seeing progress. Are you getting enough water in?
