I think pump is the way to go as the others have said. I often have to train after shift so around 6.30-7pm and a lot of the time will use a pump product because a stim would absolutely destroy my sleep

    Check in day.
Food got dropped on Wednesday as my weight wasn’t moving a great deal, 2626kcal on training days,
2500 on rest days, cardio sitting at 115 minutes per week.

Enjoying working through the J3 university at the minute, trained arms and delts today, I can’t be the only person who cannot get fired up for arm training surely? Haha!

Hoping to be back into a gaining phase before the end of the month, I visualise getting on stage every single day, I’m ready for a huge year.

I think like hilly says go weak side first and then match it with strong side.

I also sometimes go strong side first, go to failure, so that when I go to my weaker side I’ve got a number I need to try and match, it’s almost like a wee bit of a competition with myself

    Thank you mate!

I think you’re possibly the ideal lifestyle client. Not everyone who has a coach wants to be a competitor but everyone who has a coach wants to progress.

The fact that you love training, have a good start point and say you want to get bigger and grow is a really good sign that you’d be coachable.

It’s completely normal for people to socialise so that wouldn’t be something that would make you uncoachable or necessarily hold you back, especially as a lifestyle client.

Pricing is completely dependent on the coach you choose, their experience will often dictate their prices dude.

Thank you as well Ross I appreciate it. I’ll ask you the same question I asked Hilly, what is the normal way to go about acquiring a coach? [/quote]
No worries Riley! Do you have a coach in mind? Do a bit of research first, see who you resonate with, who posts content you can relate to as most coaches post on Instagram almost like a bit of a shop front to attract potential clients and then just message them to see if they have spaces and if you’re the right fit, they’ll often book you in for a call or get you to fill out a form for some info.

Arms and delts in the bag. Such a boring session with no big lifts to get fired up for but it’s out the way now, big deadlift session tomorrow!

Increase in cardio today as we look to try and get out of this diet/recomp phase in around 3 weeks!

School run and chill on the cards tonight, absolutely buckled post nightshift

Bethnal Green muscleworks is fantastic, my partner and I were there in November for two sessions and the environment and kit is all really good.
The only issue is that the leg kit is upstairs ?

Check in photos this morning for check in tomorrow, not overly happy with where we’re at but that’s why we hit the gym, to improve!

Pull really is my jam, I love the pull session!
Run out of dumbbells for single arm dumbbell row so switched over to lever edge machine for a single arm row variation and it felt really nice!

Nightshift number 2 tonight, ready for days off now.

Push last night was pretty good, just one of those sessions that just went well but nothing groundbreaking. Went in, got shit done, went home.
Stayed up later after the workout to get in nightshift mode.
Rest day to with very little going on, tested out a lasagne recipe that I’d been dribbling over all week haha! Other than that it was a very quiet day, just what’s needed on rest days, especially before nightshift. Tomorrow we pull

Legs last night has absolutely ruined me haha! The DOMS today are brutal, brutal being an understatement. The legs are coming in nicely to be fair so the disgusting sessions are paying off.

My leg session is set up as follows
    2 sets of adductor
3 on the lying ham curl
    3 on the quad extension
    2 smith squat
    2 V squat
    3 on the leg press
    3 calf raise

The smith squat top set is sticking a bit at the minute, we’re not really spoiled for choice for kit in our gym though so we’re exploring options if we swap it out.
Push later after dayshift, looking forward to push at the minute for a change

Rest day yesterday was very uneventful, just the way I like them, did some work on the laptop and chilled out before work.
Hit pull today after taking my check in pics, felt pretty deflated if I’m honest, next gaining phase is going to have to be ridiculous if I’m going to be even close to stage ready for next year.
Pull is probably my favourite session as it’s arguably my stronger area. Desperately need to get some soft tissue work done though as my left side just isn’t firing properly.

Nightshift tonight before days off, what a feeling.

Same shit happens to me sometimes, i totally crash hard and get the shakes, the sweats and just feel really fucked, just slam some carbs and you will be good.

It’s absolutely brutal! Was convinced I was about to face plant the floor haha! Necked a monster wondering if the sugar would help, turns out Monster is sugar free

Hey buddy! I think the guys are bang on here! How did you feel once you had eaten some carbs? This usually happens to me when I leave it too long after training to eat. Especially if I ate quite a while before training also.

Hey Louis mate, once the carbs had gone in I just felt absolutely wiped out and sweaty, as if I’d just done a heavy deadlift or something, definitely going to make sure to get the food in sooner, thanks for the advice
