The low sugar ketchup is good, I used the zero calorie skinny sauces for a while but they’re not great, just super sweet. The pasta sauce from Lidl is pretty low calorie, blue dragon stir fry sauces are low-ish calorie and all carbs. I’ve got a thing for mustard at the minute though, mix it with a little bit of light soy sauce and put it on your chicken, it’s tasty!

Definitely before, if even in the same session at all. Both can be incredibly taxing, especially when your rows get heavier, but deadlifts are probably the king of movements that will leave you feeling absolutely wiped out

Yeah I’ve found that if I don’t pin deep enough it hurts, that’s the same for all my sites though. I use an orange pin and go in quite high on the lat

I have A LOT of laterals in my program as it’s a weak area for me so if you feel your delts need brought up then by all means chuck them in first, plus they’ll get the shoulders nice and warm and it can never hurt to try add some more mid delt work in.

It’s been about 3 weeks since I last updated this, weight is still hovering between 87 & 88kg though! Food was increased up over 4000kcal today to try prompt some sort of response on the scales but it does appear that I’m growing, just staying the same weight and staying lean!

Into number 2 of 3 nightshifts for this week so no doubt there’ll be some fluctuations in numbers!
Big pull/push session tomorrow, my favourite of the week.
I’ll try to make the updates a bit more frequent again!

Good morning everyone! Worked on and off yesterday! Was feeling pretty tired but still managed to get into the gym for a chest session. Also hit my cardio after that I didn’t manage to do fasted due to flying back into London. I trained locally as I don’t have much fuel so I can’t drive to kings gym. So I walked to the gym here in Sutton where I do my cardio in the mornings. I have to prioritise fuel for work over training I’m afraid as training does not pay my bills! A little different training in a “The Gym Group” as it’s more of a commercial gym and not as well equipped as a bodybuilding gym would be. However I am experienced enough to make anything work! Hit a great session, blood flowing to the pecs was absolutely phenominal. I have been training a little different lately as you guys know, more volume within a shorter session. Which means very short rest periods which then on means reduction in weight used for working sets. Honestly I don’t feel like I have lost any size making this change, I still feel pretty full most of the time considering I’m on low calories. My body seems to be recovering great considering I’m only using a lot dose of TRT testosterone. I will continue to train like this for now and maybe make some changes early next year. Feedback from justin this week was he was happy with how I’m looking. The extra food during the week did me a world of good and wants to keep calories the same this week. I tend to critique myself very hard as most of us do in this sport but Justin seems to think I look better than I personally think myself which is reassuring. Obviously not running a full cycle and being able to train at 100% capacity is impacting my physique and I can’t control that right now. I think back to 2019 when I competed last and I weighed the same as I was now and I was much bigger, fuller and really peeled. Like I’m not in bad shape at the moment but certainly not lean enough to step on stage for my standards anyway. Size is holding just about but obviously muscle density feels a little down especially in my back and legs as Thats what I can’t really train that heavy. My upper body, pecs, shoulders and arms seem to be holding size ok but I guess because I am actually able to train those bodyparts a little harder than the others with the injury. It’s been 2.5 years now since my last completion, Big Man Weekend Pro Qualifer Spain 2019 where I missed first callout but held centre stage in the second callout. I’m not sure in myself how I feel about competing again. I love bodybuilding and I do love competing but where I’m in a position now where I feel I can’t bring my physique up to a high enough standard to be a contender for a pro card it has left me feeling unsure about my future in the sport. I guess with bodybuilding you can never say never as age is not a huge factor in this sport so I would never say my competitive career is over but for not I think I will have to leave my posing trunks hung up in the locker room. I have been dieting now for a while and I feel really happy and healthy in my body. Which is why I want to get this blood test done to see how my body looks on the inside, not so I can get the go ahead to go back on cycle but for me to see if it looks on the inside as good as it feels in my mind. I am comfortable at the moment and I do feel content with how I look right now even considering my injury and how I have looked in the past. I have to say I never thought I would be able to achieve the look I carry now using only a TRT dose of testosterone with no other anabolics or fat burners. This is simple through training, nutrition and cardio. Let’s be honest I’m not exactly killing myself here I’m only doing 30 mins LISS 5 x weekly. I have 2/3 off plan meals per week and I train 5 days. I guess what I’m trying to say is that it is possible for you guys to get in good shape without the use of high Anabolics and Fat Burners which will all have a negative impact on your health. If your someone who is not considering being a competitive bodybuilder or who is in very early stages of their career then my honest advice is to keep Anabolics and drugs to a very bare minimum. This is the same mindset I have with my clients. I have toyed with the idea of competing as I’m not that far off show condition right now, there is a 2bros regional in 6 weeks time and the idea popped up in my head just last week thinking of doing it as I am prepping a client for the same show. I thought about trying to dial it in for the show staying on the same dose of testosterone only, no fat burners or other Anabolics and seeing if I can achieve that peeled condition solely on TRT. However I feel like I just don’t want to. Maybe it’s my pride, I wouldn’t be happy in myself to step on stage and present a physique that was not as good as what I presented back in 2019. I would be afraid and embarrassed to show the world how ive gone backwards in the last 2 years due to covid and injury. That’s just me being honest and I’m not afraid to admit that. As much as I like to say I don’t care what people think about me, which I would say I dont generally and I am content in knowing how my family and friends feel about me because that’s all that really matters to me. I still wouldn’t want the world to see me at my “worst”. Even though I am confident I could step on stage and still win a regional show in Classic Class B with my shape, condition and presentation carrying me I still wouldn’t be happy presenting something that I know could be better and has been better. I am also happy living my life right now, I have found what is deemed as some sort of balance in life. I know some say that you can’t have balance in competitive bodybuilding and I do agree. You have to be fully commited but please not my mindset is not in competitive bodybuilding right now and neither is my physique. I am happy enjoying 2/3 meals off per week to spend with loved ones and enjoy food because I love food. I was able to travel this weekend, spend time with family and friends and enjoy food and travelling which I love and it had zero negative impact on my physique and only made my minset even stronger and happier. It has taken me 15 years of training to find a balance that allows me to look good and enjoy life at the same time and I know some people never find this so I am so fortunate to know that my mind and my body have connected very well and I am thankful to Justin for helping guide me into this chapter in my life. He is also a retired bodybuilder now that looks better than 90% of bodybuilders probably even higher! We often discuss how we think about competing again as he also shares the same desires but we are also both content in living our lives knowing there is a lot more important things in life than competitive bodybuilding. If you can enjoy both then that’s even more perfect! We have gone completely off topic here guys but I just wanted to share with you how I have been feeling these past few months. I am a very private person and I don’t open up often on social media but I feel like this is something you all should hear and if you have any questions or are going through a similar stage yourself then feel free to ask me on my log I am more than happy to speak anytime about anything. Have a great day everyone and I will be smashing back later close to home to save my fuel! Weighed 83.3kgs this morning!

Love the honesty of this post man and the insight into where you’re at! No matter what you decide I’m sure you’ll put everything into it, even if that’s just training to look the best you can.

Back shot is progressing quickest I feel, only just up over 88kg but we look to be getting thicker which is good.

Work training this week so sessions are bound to be a little harder but looking forward to deadlifts tonight.
Think there’ll be another push on food next week and possibly some mast going in

Pull/push last night. We added in some pull movements to push2 to try and keep packing on tissue everywhere and let me tell you, the pump is absolutely unbelievable.
We start with straight arm pull downs for priming
    Then it goes like this
    Single arm pull down
    Deadlifts (becoming a favourite)
    Prone DB row
    Rear delt fly
    Upper chest cuffed fly
    Incline DB press
    Cable chest press

And the end product is outstanding, love it!!
Weight shifted up today 87.6kg, we’re moving.

As Clare says there are plenty of other options, eggs obviously contain fat but if I needed to add more fats to my diet I’d look to things like dark chocolate, maybe some peanut butter, avocado and cashews, they’re my favourites at the minute. Using those choices alongside other indirect fats coming from other food groups always has me hitting my numbers. Plus, life’s too short to keep foods in that you don’t really like

Awesome weekend in Finland. What a beautiful country . We made improvements from the previous outing, but they were only good enough for a second place finish. The guy who beat me would go on and win the overall so no complaints from me at all.

With every showing we are edging closer and the feedback this weekend was also positive. And based off that, and the fact that we can be better again, we’ll go knock the door again this weekend in Norway ??.

See there is a time factor involved in destiny, you don’t have your whole life to think about it because opportunity is passing by. Opportunity will never sit on your lap, it’s so busy it’s got to keep walking. And for me there’s something about the process of being committed to your vision even when it looks like nothing supernatural is happening.

Full of gratitude to be able to do what makes me happy , grateful to not only have Jordan in my corner but have him believe in me this much . Overwhelmed by the messages of support and encouragement too

You looked unreal Oscar and yet another step in the right direction ??. Your mindset and appreciation for all things bodybuilding are why you’ll make it

Leg day on a Monday should be a thing like church on a Sunday haha! Legs are still twitching after this afternoon’s session as I type this now, such a good session!!

We’ve added some pull movements into push2 to fry and add some thickness to my back as we continue to try and add muscle everywhere, especially the upper chest and delts.
Looking forward to seeing where we’re at around Christmas time!
Other than that today we had the little man over for a while, Alice’s parents are visiting and now I’m at work! Tomorrow, it’s push1.

Yeah as above I wait until I hit the highest rep in the rep range and always video the top set, if my form is good, we progress the weight, if the form is sloppy I stick with the weight for a week or so to tidy it up

Food has finally hit the high highs of 3400 haha!! Scales are still holding at around 87kg but my body is changing all the time, or at least it looks that way to me, could be all in my head.

It’s been a pretty boring few days in terms of things to update but it’s been steady and consistent, that’s exactly what we want eh?

Pull session today, arms and delts yesterday, taking the small progressions every session at the minute and absolutely loving it.
Have started doing some stomach vacuums to try and improve my midsection control, food may potentially go up on Tuesday, life is good.
Nightshift now, push 2 tomorrow, absolutely ready to attack another chance to improve my weaker workout!
Took a photo post back workout today and was pleasantly surprised! Not quite at the levels of @Jordan_peters video of him on on the Prime lat raise, but we’re moving none the less ?

Midweek rest day and the first of September. What the fuck!? ?

As ever I needed today, body is beat! Sports massage booked for tonight which should help and then back on the horse tomorrow with delts and arms.
Cardio and abs at work today but other than that it’s pretty much just same old same old!
