Mate this is weird…. Friday night I’ve been really suffering with bad stomach n nausea. When I eat it gets worse! I’ve just typed IBS in the search and your thread popped up!
It was overnight and I’ve been suffering ever since Friday which was a high day full of pasta and bread which I’m thinking may have kicked it off! @Hilly

Re the estro product , for me personally I go by feel, I can adjust things very easily within 2-3 days based on how I feel. I know when my estro is too high or too low, I have been doing this far far too long , so I don’t bother with bloods to check
How do you know when your estro is high JP? Do you feel a certain way?

Ryan it is! I am so determined to be able to do it bud, I know it will be so fucking hard, but if I can dump off enough muscle it will be just maybe doable ? . That sounds amazing !

Not much from me, today I had a 1-1 bjj with Chris , another lad comes in roll against me who is awesome , went well , did some nice half guard escapes , felt gd! I’m so fucking determined this week to make a big step forward in my fitness , dropping mass and taking mini wins in bjj sessions .
Tmo I’m doing just 6 sets of my work, will do 2 sets of deads, 2 sets pulldown and 2 sets machine row .
Then I have 3 diff sections of work that Andy has programmed for me , 2 are 6 min amraps and then my cardio is intervals on the ski .
I have a goal of being able to go to a wrestling camp in 12 weeks with a chap that is just fucking awesome ! So I need to drop off a chunk more and really be fit to hold my own at this camp! I have booked my space on it , so now to do the work , this is like a mini prep in my head to be ready for this ?

I did a session last week with a guy who wrestled for Iran and when I say it was brutal I mean full on! Any BJJ classes or sparring have not come close but I learnt so much and felt it 3 days later ?

One thing I’ve noticed from transitioning from sports is that most folk me included at the start think when they need to get fitter at say Bjj they think ohhh I just have to do loads of cardio to get better on the matts but I think this is Incorrect. The more mat time you have being efficient and learning technique not force you will notice your not as gassed also when your learning and deseoerate to do well n learn quickly you actually tense up like mad which gasses you out quicker. If you look at the top guys Gordon Ryan etc the cardio is mat time n anything else they do is usually weights.
JP this isn’t aimed at you because your wanting to drop weight quick which the cardio activity will aid so you have more than one goal but I think guys who spend time in a gym think S&C is the holy grail to all sports but you can’t mimic your sport any closer to actually doing it with intention and intensity! I’ve found drilling to be fine and can throw a strength session in the afternoon and be fine the day after!
I’m using a whoop strap to cover my recovery and also my Bjj sessions as I can wear it with the bicep guard attachment.but if I’m rolling hard n I then do a strength session afterwards my recovery the next day is shocking it fry’s my nervous system! I then have to take a day off. So if I’ve had rolled hard that’s it for the day! We’re doing like 5×5 mins spars after half hour of drilling
Get my meals in and hydrate. The aches n pains you get from rolling are different from the gym! ?Are you finding the same JP
