Maybe drop back the gear for a few weeks, eq fucks my head up mentally. Something else to consider

You maybe right man. I may well drop the dose and see how I get on

Clare’s hit the nail on the head. Aside from the points she’s made where’s your test at? Are you assisted or not ? Maybe get bloods done there could be an underlying issue as to why you have no drive or energy for training

I’ve not long started a blast again, my test is at 600 per week, alongside EQ at 600per week and NPP at 300 per week.

My bloods came back very good, also posted them on here a while ago just to confirm. But yeah nothing to worry about apart from I aromatise a lot but I’m taking half a tab of Aromasin EOD to keep it in check

Tough one. Because motivation is internally driven. You need to have a reason and purpose for doing what you’re doing. Sometimes other factors that are causing you to be stressed or unhappy can influence motivation too, so maybe thinking about work, relationships, money or anything else that could be taking your focus away from training and address these.

    Other things that may help:

Changing your environment, so maybe joining a new gym and surrounding yourself with new people.

Get yourself a training partner that will show up. This will help to keep yourself accountable as won’t want to let the other person down.

Set yourself a goal. This could be performance related, a charity challenge, competition, holiday, photoshoot etc. Something that will give you a target to aim for.

Set time out of your day to go for a walk. This is a great time to listen to motivating podcasts or have time to reflect and think.

Thank you Clare. Yeah you’re right. I dont have a short term goal at the moment and maybe that’s why. Ultimate goal is to get on stage eventually. My work probably don’t help either, doing 12 hour shifts days and nights constantly switching. Sleep does suffer a lot, maybe that’s the underlying problem….I’m normally very motivated, just lately I’ve got into a right deep hole that I can’t seem to claw my way out of.
Thank you for your suggestions though, think I need to book a holiday haha

Sorry Mark I didn’t mention that. Yes I’m cruising on 150mg Test E per week atmo

What was your cycle before cruise? Your prolactin is a little higher. Were you using tren or deca?

Any issues with sex drive etc? I found when my prolactin was high I had these issues, now its in check all is well!

Mark yeah i was on Test, Tren and Mast for my prep. Sex drive is okay. Could be better tbh.

I was going to do Test , NPP and primo for a gaining phase after this cruise but purely because my prolactin is a little high I’m thinking of swapping the NPP for EQ.

This is the first time it’s come back high tbh so now I’m gonna have to make sure I keep and eye on that in the future

Looks like your hematocrit needs to be controlled. I have a client which has phenomenal results with ip6 from jarrow try this out about 1000 a day split up am pm

And about the push I think it depends on so much more than the bloodwork the blood work looks good little high estrogen but all the other things just normal.

Thanks Kevin. Yeah ordered it from amazon last night. As for Estro It always seems to be high for me so got to do my best to control it ???? thank you matey

    No a.i in cruise ,

At 300 u may need half an Aromasin x 2 a week , at 500 half eod, over that prob half Ed . But I would run bloods. Trying to grow, it being where it is, is perfect .

Okay Jordan. Will definitely implement this in the future to control estro. Thanks again for your advice buddy ????

Pushing is very dependent on you , so imo no one can ever answer that for you! However , your blood work looks good, I would use ip6 by jarrow, from Amazon. 500 am and pm to control hematocrit . Also you aromatise a lot, at 150 test ur Estro is high. So when you push, in your scenario I would use an a.i to some extent to control Estro sides

Thank you so much for the reply Jordan. Appreciate that. ????
Yeah I was surprised at the Estro level actually considering the low dose Test. It’s always come back high every single time I have bloodwork.

Just curious what would you suggest to run for my AI during cycle and also for future do you think I should run an AI during cruise phase or maybe a low dose Mast with the test? Thanks again buddy

What’s up dude I’m sorry I’ve just seen this!! Ok so I like the look of your set up buddy – that’s actually similar to how I do things. So for example with my clients – I will up the food based on a combination of 1. Their performance in the gym, 2. Whether the scales are moving or not and 3, what they look like.

However the combination needs to be correct – eg, if the scale weight has increased but they look noticeably worse (softer/fat in certain areas) then I may not push it.

Like you said the goal is a LEAN bulk to put you in an optimal position to prep so keep a respectable off season diet is key. Another tool I use to allow me to push food more while holding some condition is cardio. I may add is for example 20-30 mins liss or increase they’re daily step count by 3/4K to increase their output and allow for some more food.

Obviously there is no set way, everyone is different any any good coach with coach what he sees in front of them (basically you can’t pre plan when to bump food) … so take you’re time, ensure the basics of good form and progression in the gym, make sure digestion is top of your priority list, keep the scale weight moving (slowly) and possibly use cardio as an aid to push more and hold some condition.

Hope that helps mate, feel free to message me direct on my log with any other questions and I’ll be happy to help ????

Joe thank you so much buddy. Massive help having your input ???? gym performance is very good atmo, I’m starting to get softer and I do struggle with that mentally a little but I know it’s a must really for offseason but yeah I’m not overly sloppy yet haha.
As you said I wanna be in the best position come prep time and not have to pull so much off again
    Thanks again mate ????????

I work 12 hour shifts days and nights but I have been following a
    Push
    Pull
    Rest
    Legs
    Rest
For the last few months and I find it the most ideal and optimal for recovery and performance

I normally run the same as this and I also work 12 hour shifts. Can’t see why the shift pattern would affect anything, just train after work or before. [/quote]
I never said it effects anything, it’s not ideal but I always get my sessions in and have done for the last 6 years in this job ….just wanted people’s views on the most optimal one to run. Cheers ????????

@randy-salway I’m thinking an upper lower split is maybe more ideal suited. I know my current PPL split it’s not ideal but there’s only so much you can do when you work 12 hours shifts days and nights, my job is what’s not ideal, it’s a nightmare hahaha.
And yes I have but I didn’t think there was a limit to how many questions I could ask? I just want to learn as much as possible myself and if I don’t ask then I’ll never know right? I will be also investing in a coach soon too but it won’t stop me asking loads of questions lol

@giantjohal thank you for your input mate ???? will definitely look at changing my rest day set up to that.
Would you say rest day calories would still need to be in a surplus? Or would you run them at maintenance calories? Appreciate the help bud

@kevinstuetz that’s the approach I’ve been doing matey. Seems to be working okay. Strength is going up fine atmo and I’m still cruising and still holding a respectable condition ???? digestion is still okay too
