My friend, who cares about what shoes you wear on the gym? The gym is not a place for this kind of fluffyness.. I only care about safety, big weights and progression when im on the gym. Who cares about clothes and superficial stuff, should go to a mall a club or something like that

For people that dont live for bodybuilding, and have another activities, weight after cooked. Just use the same amount of water every time. I use a rice cooker and always use the same amount of water, so my rice is always the same proportions. Its all about consistency. If you cant weight your rice before, just weight it after.

If you can afford it hydro whey.

However don’t break the bank for it. Just use BCAA and if this is stretching your budget then just eat more protein pre and post.

Honest its not worth it effecting your financial situation in terms of growing and retaining muscle mass.

A nice edition yes when funds allow. Can you still make good progress without it? hell yes

I would opt for 30g. An intra isn’t essential, especially when calories are high, so if you could only afford it during certain times, I would utilise it more during a cut.

Hydro whey would be a good option over BCAAs

20-25g would be cool for a 87kg guy?

And another question if you dont mind Clare, if you could only afford it on certain periods, would you use it on bulking, when food is high, or cutting?

I dont know why you guys assume that you always need a IA.

I dont use IAS for more than 1 year and a half now, only some aromasin there when i really need it, by exams.

If you’re not pushing doses, you wouldnt need a IA. Keep your doses low, get the most out of it without using this kind of medication, it is very harsh on lipids and long term can be very dangerous.

    ok, I never alter protein

there is literature to show that when lean adding more protein doesn’t negate fat loss or cause fat gain – and can help to maintain muscle mass.

    just food for thought there

I think you could increase it a little and it would help towards the goals, also remember that fats are important too

all macros should be utilised for over health

From a lot of my own experience and research I personally feel that for most a higher protein would be beneficial and would be looking at 2.5 to 3g per kg personally for all. There is always debate in this area but fact is for those not genetically gifted any big guys and gals are eating big protein.

So I would look to increase up to 2.5g per kg as your next move personally.

I always did that too to be honest.. first time trying this approach, but as i get in a surplus, i think its better to add some kcals from proteins, than solely carbs, i think body comp might stick a little longer?

Hey corinne! I have 5 meals of 36g protein each!
I lowered it because on the end of my cutting my carbs were very low, i bumped them and dropped the proteins a little, while still maintiang a deficit, my shape got tighter and fuller, and then i started adding carbs. Its my 3rd week doing this and weight is not creeping up yet, still very lean and gettinng fuller and stronger by the day.. so im thinking, when is the right time to bump proteins a little..
