Agreed with Dean. If he’s not been training hard, doing cardio, off drugs and had a lot of scope to change food then this is possible. What I’m curious about is whether or not his calories would have gone up, stayed the same or come down for this.

Sorry where I said unable to “maintain” tension I actually meant “able” to maintain tension.
Thanks for responses, I had a play around earlier and realised how right you are Morning_Iron. Normally I proactively push my hips hard into the bench causing extension which limits my ROM. Let my hips come up a bit more earlier and my ROM improved. I definitely felt more tension from pushing hips into bench hard so will continue with that. Will improve quad flexibility as well as they are quite tight.

Hi Sas. Do you feel that because you’re not annihilating yourself when you train, that your appetite doesn’t get out of control? I am using a higher volume, shorter rest time approach while dieting currently and so far have had no issues with hunger and performance is constantly improving.

Yes I have experience with FT and rate it highly.
On paper the volume may appear to be low even at tier 3, but I quickly discovered even tier 2 was too much for me! Would highly recommend.

Glute med activation work completely solved the issue for me.

I tried the executioner and it was fun but completely buried me within 2 weeks.

Are you confusing maxtech with scmj?

Even if you choose not to follow the programme it’s a fantastic resource. The training plan is quite flexible so you choose exercises based upon your physique needs. Anyway sorry for going off topic on Jordan’s log.

Could be caused by a variety of things.
1) Have you pushed your weight up significantly? This could have an effect on glucose/insulin sensitivity like you suggested.
2) How much sodium is in your diet? I had this on my current bulk where I was never looking full despite being in a surplus. Began adding salt to carb meals and made a huge difference to my look and pumps in the gym.
3) Have you had the pedal to the metal for a long time? Maybe you simply require a deload/cruise?
4) How has your sleep/ general wellbeing been as of late? Are you using any oral steroids etc?
5) How is your digestion? Any noticeable bloating, constipation or diarrhoea etc?

What do you do for work? Are you doing cardio? I’m quite similar to yourself in terms of having a high metabolism but nowhere near to the same degree. Currently while bulking I am consciously limiting my daily steps and overall activity which seems to have got the scales ticking upwards again.

Good luck Luke! Regardless of how you do in this show, you definitely belong at this level!

MemberMarch 11, 2018 at 5:24 pm in reply to: 14 weeks to drop 20-25lbs ? Advise pleaseWhat are your macronutrients currently? I wouldn’t base my diet off a bmr calculator and would always advise adjusting based on where your current diet is. I’ve had good success with pulling 20% off my caloric total at the end of a bulk. Then when weight loss stops I’ll remove 200-300 calories and increase steps by about a 1,000 🙂

Hey man. I don’t believe you have a bad metabolism (unless you have a medical condition). Are you doing more training other than your 6 cardio sessions? How long and intense are these sessions? What does your current meal plan look like? The more information you can give us, then the more likely that somebody will be able to help you.
