If your post workout meal is your pre bed meal then you may require a decent sized carbohydrate meal for breakfast following day (or may even have two carb meals as first two meals of following day!) Then go back to pro fat meals through the day until you have pre workout meal where you introduce carbs again and reduce fat.

Introduce them in and around workouts like Mort suggested. You’ll likely find you respond very well to carbs after being on a keto diet.

Personally I would pull fat off now and aim to get to around 8-10%. Then review things again and see whether you have time to bulk again before cutting for your holiday.

Sacrificing a bit of volume to enable you to recover properly seems like a smart idea. If you’re beaten up by end of second workout then you would definitely benefit from resting the third day and then training the following 2. Be interesting to hear Jordan’s take on it.

Having difficulty waking/getting up in the morning and just generally feeling drained and a bit fragile throughout the day. Also a stall in lift progression can be an obvious one. Last run I was in my final week before a planned deload and could feel I had overreached. I went to progress a deadlift to 4 reps and didn’t even complete the 2nd rep . I rested up a week and then next time got a 5 rep pb at same weight.

My fiancé has two tubs of it and has decided she hates the stuff so said I can have them. I’m not very fussed about using it, but am just intrigued whether (in theory) it could help to counter hypothyroidism during a prep.

Found I was able to do occluded leg extensions after occluded sets on the leg press. I’m not a huge fan of occluded training. Although the sets were extremely gruelling and painful, I left the gym feeling like my quads had been under worked.

I had an issue with this but found I was able to do a tate press movement with kettlebells. Reps were no lower than 12 though, but found it comfortable for my elbows.

At 200lbs assuming you’re in at least half decent condition you’d likely need more than 3,000 calories on training days to push weight up! Also are you the owner of Priory Gym in Tetbury? Just wondering because I live in Stroud!

It depends on what dosages you’ve previously used. If 500 test 300 deca will be the strongest cycle you’ve ever ran then you can expect to make great progress from it.
