Hi Ryan yeah I got my bloods done few month back so have test levels,
Apparently I’m slightly higher to normal r
Angel for age, should I post pick? As don’t really know about levels. So your thinking is 250 12 weeks then HRT dose for how long?
I was keen to go 200-250mg enanthate for 12 weeks followed by a full pct then repeated after 12 weeks off.
    Cheers for help Ryan ????????

I am 53. After many years away from the gym, I came back and trained unassisted, and then went with 300 Test E for the first cycle. Gained loads. You will need full PCT after 12 weeks. Dr. Deans protocol is the one to follow. Take your health supps too. Less wiggle room at our age.

Hi Clare used for push session and was surprised how well it mixed, remember people using years ago and seemed a bit thicker! First impressions got a wild pump!

Was going to ask this question separate Clare to yourself and Corrine, but do you believe in carb tolerant people or just calories in general, had a test done few years ago, was poliquins bio signature but was sceptical to say the least, apparently I’m very carb tolerant being mixed race?! Strange! But do seem to be able to pound the carbs especially around training!

Have trialled various things over the years, like high fat low carb ect, higher carb lower fats..with cals being around the same roughly and do seem to look a lot better on lower fats higher carbs, seem to get bigger and leaner!!

Also I train natty not that that’s that important! Thanks!

Some people are able to utilise carbs better than others and some people find that higher fats suit them better. I think this is just a case of trial and error and would be hesitant to change your diet because of a bio signature test. Go by how you feel, energy levels, how productive your workouts are, digestion etc.

And to your other question, yes I favour higher carbs on training days, particularly pre, intra and post workout and predominantly higher fat/pro meals on rest days to keep insulin sensitivity high.

It’s always person dependant. If you find your way you feel and perform best, stick with it !

Always stick to what is best for you, not for others.

Carb tolerance means, if I’m correct, how good your body can utilize carbs. How much do you get out of a meal, but calories are always the major thing.

cal surplus = weightgain, cal lowered = weight loss.

As you said, you feel the fullest and best with HC LF, so work with this.

For example, I do very well with some fat through the day, but always away from my workout.

Also meant to say I do still try to follow what most do on here and keep carbs low on rest days and favouring protein/fat meals.
Tend to find as I train mornings I do pre, and now intra, and post around 180grams of carbs total, then rest of meals for day as sedentary job protein/fat and then last meal of day as eat tea with wife pretty late around 7.45 8.00, I put rest of days carbs with that meal

Cheers lads! Got a push session today to see how it feels! Never used intra carbs for years now back when prime had an intra!
Never thought I’d need one as eat carbs around 1.5hrs before training and immediately post, but since following push pull legs for last 5 month I’ve put on a fantastic amount of new tissue and log booking has transformed my training and mindset all and all really happy as 43 now didn’t think could put much extra tissue on, so thinking adding some intra may be the next nice little push

Nice one Oscar! I was actually doing that, but did eventually start to bother my knees, so recently switched doing poliquin step up?? Seems to do the job! Do prefer extensions though prior!
