Had the exact same thing around 3 years ago, apparently called exertional headaches! During set was excruciating! Went away in no time though!

Yeah I had shoulder impingement so used to have a little pain in upper bicep, long head?
Had that under control now for awhile, last 3 weeks I would say in lower, not very bad pain but feels a little tight and just not right, sometimes a little sore, can’t pin point what aggravates but have dropped most form of curls for moment especially preacher, hammer curls ok but going leave off for maybe two weeks, rows ect ok, not tried NSADS, but have upped fish oils to four grams per day, thanks

Had and have bad knee pain, found some great exercises on t-nation, have a look at landmine reverse lunges, few different ones, built a good routine around them as dont hurt the knees at all, those and high rep leg press as squats always flair my knees, have been getting my legs super sore! Seems good when knees are bad to keep them going

Thanks dean, yeah checked out your IG and I will defiantly give that a go! So engages the glutes?! My physio did say mine are not firing correctly when squatting so a lot of the load is transferring to my kness causing the tendinitis in quad tendon. What band is that your using? I’m thinking I can purchase on amazon.
Very helpful again! So thank you!

No, was just off watching squat university, as have had problem for longer than 6 months it seems classed as degenerative, had for around 8-10 months maybe longer!
Had knees scanned and showed up problem on quad tendon just above knee cap.

Hi James, yeah I think tight hip flexors and physio did say glutes are no firing properly, never had these problems until became driving instructor! Should’ve kept on top of mobility more!
I tried the only leg balance and RDL version and was pretty ok surprisingly! Could not try the squat as knee pain to much.
Squat university has some great stuff that I will try,but apparently I’m in the degenerative faze!
Seeing a guy next week who did put me on a eccentric program so thinking going to be doing same again, in meantime shall focus on stretching hips and strengthening glutes.
Thanks a lot for taking time to advise me, really appreciate it!

Hi dean, I have done some hip flexor stretching but if I’m honest not consistent enough! But will try daily! Sitting basically the full day, train in morning then given driving lessons all day long! Try to at least stand after lesson and if time a little walking

Are I’m Newcastle! Ha! Will search for that though for sure.
It was the ones I think about pinched shoulder and bicep, when I started to work both that was what helped, as had been trying to treat just the shoulder impingement, it was really bad for around 4-5 months! Added in bicep long head work, if you look for his clip for the two that’s what made big difference, for some reason I could get away with high incline stuff, nothing over head or flat! Still don’t over head press now to this day and touch wood!

Yeah will definitely look into those injections! Would I just do a search for them? And pay privately?
That guy is amazing! Totally sorted my shoulder impingement out watching him! Will check that latest one for sure! Cheers jdh ????????

I’ve got to admit I’m pretty strict on minimising bouncing, I’m 42 and have been training for years, go a little lighter now and focus more on feel, but still half decent poundage for me at least, I maybe over years have went to low on squats and front squats for my structure?! Or just unlucky really!
At this point may drop squats all together!
Foot positions do help slightly as have played around a little also, thanks for advice!
