Hey Mati, SST is pretty person dependent. Have you looked into Fortitude Training? This training includes both heavy straight sets on load days as well as pump sets and cluster sets (ie muscle rounds).

If you are moving to a low volume high intensity approach this site is the best. Intensemuscle.com is also awesome. If you go to that site, go to the The Dogg Pound forum and read all of the highlighted posts by Dante.

I would add reverse grip smith press and dead stop skull crushers to your rotation for triceps if they aren’t already in there. I’m over 40 with shot elbows, so I do widowmakers (+20 rep sets) for dead stop skull crushers. Jordan has an old video on YouTube of these doing some serious poundage. Maybe also look at Smith Close grip presses or JM press.
For bicep, I would steer toward progressing in a high rep range (10-15 reps) or 20+ rest paused reps utilizing one armed movements. Just my 2 cents.

Hisbel, I am not going to proclaim to be an expert and I’m sure the true experts will chime in but my thought is that when you are on an U/L split or a PPL split, your opportunity to grow your arms is higher than the bro split that you were on considering you are picking the right exercises and your lifts are progressing in weight. For instance, I read a post by Dante early on suggesting that people with weak triceps need to be very precise with exercise selection. He suggested replacing a traditional chest exercise (Bench, incline smith, incline barbell, etc. with a leaned forward heavy dip. Did this an arms grew.
If you are eventually dipping with 180 lbs around your waist in a 5-8 rep zone, your arms will be big and muscular as opposed to the blood volume that you are getting with the bro split. If you can eventually do 5-8 reps with 225 lbs around your waist, your triceps will be massive.

Firstly getting bloods done post HIT was not the best move However this shouldn’t of effected ldl Has anything changed in your supplements or diet since the last test It’s not a drastic thing but it’s most definitely something you need to improve on ASAP Red yeast extractTrainedByJP love heartFish oil 5-10gMore green veg

Thank you for your response Hilly. Thanks for the info about getting bloods done post HIT. I did not know that. I just figured that as long as I was fasted (for the glucose and thyroid measures), it would be good.

I will get red yeast extract. The last test (done 4 months ago), I was completely off, which I do for one month a year to not feel like an addict.

At the time of the high LDH test (Last Friday – 4/16) I was on 600mg test prop and 300mg nandrolone per week and very little anastrozole (0.5mcg once per week).

    Thanks again,

    Jason

Steroids are not good on cholesterol. This is a well known fact

    The suggestions above will help[/quote]

I understand the cholesterol piece. My LDL is higher than normal while on cycle 132 to be exact. What I am referring to is the LD measure on the blood test.

This test measures the level of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), also known as lactic acid dehydrogenase, in your blood or sometimes in other body fluids. LDH is a type of protein, known as an enzyme. LDH plays an important role in making your body’s energy. It is found in almost all the body’s tissues, including those in the blood, heart, kidneys, brain, and lungs.

    Hey,
What are you using? What supplements are you taking and how is your current diet?

    Thank you for responding Ryan.

I am on 600mg test prop and 300mg nandrolone per week. Very little anastrozole at the moment.

My current diet is fine, other than the fact that I have reached the point where I have lost my appetite and just pushing the food down and constantly bloated (look pregnant after meal 2 rather than meal 6). I am on a carb rotation diet with two high days per week consisting of 750g carbs and 210g protein, 0 fat. My 3 low days consist of 150g carbs and 360g protein and 60g fat. The two other days of the week are medium days that consist of 270g carbs, 270g protein, and 20g of fat.

I am taking curcumin, omega 6 fish oils, berberine, citrus bergamont, vit D, vit K, boron, quercin, and vit C.

    Thanks again,

    Jason

im quite lucky that i really only have day shifts n night shifts and have been doing this roster for a good 4 years so well tuned in but ill try to explain how i do it.

    So on day shifts my training day meals go M1 – M2 – M3 – PRE W/O – INTRA – POST – PRE BED.

When on nights my training day meals go

M2 – PRE – INTRA – POST – M3 – PRE BED – M1. (M3 – PRE BED will switch depending on which has more carbs so currently M3 has slightly more)
When im on rest day meals either working days or nights my meals run in norm order 1-6.

    does this all make sense?
basically i move all my meals surrounding training earlier if i train earlier in day in comparison to my wake time

Mark, what kind of planning during this prep do you do to make sure that working on an off shift for a period of time doesn’t set you back. Also, do you treat your meals, training, rest, etc the same in the off-season when you have to work on an off shift?

Hi Jason do u mean with regards to shift patterns at work?

Mark, on page 1 you said the following:
“Even though i work shifts my training normally still falls at same time of day 5pm all i have to do is move my meals around my training earlier in rotation or later.”
I probably should have just asked this following your statement there, but my work schedule changes frequently. Sometime I am on 7am-3pm. Sometime 3pm-11pm. When this changes for you, if it does, you obviously don’t move your training time around but it sounds like you move your meal times around. Do you also move your sleep schedule and rest days around to support your profession? Ie if you are working nights, do you just keep the same 6 meals in and eat them before During and after your shift? Thanks.

Kuba, besides lowering calories for your mini cut, are you also taking any fat burners (ie Clen) or increasing your daily steps?

Mark, it’s cool that Jordan gives you a 12% fat ground beef meal on your non training day. Do you know the mindset for going that high in fat precontest? I’m only asking because it is somewhat unique.
