Two years ago, I was admitted to the emergency room and spent the night on the hospital for diverticulitis. My gut health was horrible. I modified my food choices in a shotgun manner and my gut health was 100% better overnight. No more leaky gut, no more inflamation, no more digestive issues. I take in 350g of animal protein per day (despite the fact that the doctors suggested that my protein intake was the cause of my issues). Boy were they wrong. and I have competed in BB using a myriad of contest prep drugs, and of course I use gear now, and my gut health has been fine the entire time.

MemberSeptember 25, 2016 at 11:20 pm in reply to: decent probiotics/digestive enzymes?Toby, from my experience, leaky gut was caused by a food or condiment. When I changed my food sources, it went away.
Try avoiding foods with gluten. Also try to avoid spicy foods, dairy, and processed foods. I just use rice, potatoes, and gluten free oats for carbs, and nuts, borage oil, or avocados for fats. My protein sources are round steak, chicken, or ground beef. That is it. I just use salt and pepper to season. This might sound like it sucks but my digestive health has been awesome since then (two years now). As you know, try adding 40grams of protein or carbs when you have leaky gut. It sucks. You need to be in a healthy state to grow big IMO. It just is too much, and not comfortable otherwise.
One more thing. If you are supplementing using protein please make sure it is of the highest quality. So many supplement companies throw fillers, to include metals, in your protein. That is why Muscle Milks tear up anyone’s stomach.
Good luck. -
Sakib, like Jordan points out, everything that you need is right here. Start with the articles and then watch the videos.
If someone drafts you a new program, 99/100 you will be back at the gym working bis and triceps, or the new FST-7 advanced….seven sets of seven of squats while Standing on a medicine ball (intensity level 7).
Bust your ass enough in the gym to progress on your weights every session, eat more and more CLEAN food, with exceptions around the workout window, and when you are at about 3.20 to 3.5lbs per inch of height with at least an outline of abs, start pinning test consistently. It really is that simple. Your workout plan seems very logical. Switch the exercises up while using mostly compound movements.

Cool. Dr Scott is on the forum too. THat is cool. We appreciate your insight.

I am not qualified to answer your question but I can say that the type of sleep is important. I used to take OTC sleep meds but now I get in to deeper sleep playing Delta Waves, etc. sometimes when staying at hotels I will take True Nutrition’s Sleep Aid and Cal Mag product. Even then though I worry that I won’t achieve the sleep level that promotes the most recovery.

Since you are on this board I am assuming that your water and sodium intake is adequate. I have never heard of this before except precontest when the muscles are holding less water due to low glycogen stores.
I have gotten cramps after working out. -
This is the cycle for pennies Dante Trudel cycle. It works for sure but I believe that there are questions about most people getting their health right in the cruise. If the numbers look good though for you, this cycle allows you to progress forward without ever taking a step back.
One other consideration for any blast cruise cycle is your long term HPTA. Clomid in the cruise helps but just know that after a year of doing this it is never going to be the same. -
Yeah. A coach could design a plan that fits around your workouts and your NEAT levels better than I can suggest here but I am 230lbs at the moment and off gear currently to get my numbers back in line. I should be back on in October and pushing eight meals per day. I am doing Fortitude training four days a week and working out intensely. I am in sales so I am not very active aside from my workouts.
My point though was, yes at first this felt like a lot but I did lose the desire to cheat at all. Mainly because I was always satiated with cleaner foods.
You should watch Jordan’s Facebook vid. If you think that you would still be subject to cheating, just design some high carb low fat foods after training like cocoa pebbles or begals, etc. -
Also, try dead stop skull crushers. JP has a YouTube vid ou there with these.
Here is the link, probably in hard to see white font below this sentence:https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qgo4-PYO3_k
They also do these RP style in the Project Superheavyweight DVD.

Reverse grip bench in higher reps, dips, heavy close grip bench in higher reps for injury prevention as well, and dumbbell overhead seated extension. If you do DC or any other training that focuses on progressive overload like Ben said then they will grow.
Look, the next part is total bro science, so you do what works for you, but I put an inch on my arms that stayed, during a prep when I started site injecting gear into my shoulders and triceps. Now, was I eating perfectly, getting rest, and completely dialed in?…yes. Was I cutting back on the arm volume to avoid the pain…yes, but I have never put on that much size in 52 weeks let alone 16 weeks. Probably total bs but like I said….try it out and see if it works for you.

Kind of cool to see a fellow lurker (Jordan) on the Intensemuscle boards username XJPX hit the big time.
His pics way back in 2012 were awesome. He also had a few Intense Set of the Month vids back then if I remember right.
Not sure if we can post vids on this sight but if so,we could do something similar here.

James, how did you add a pic for your avatar?

John Meadows has posted that he uses nolva exclusively during his cruise and that dude stays within a few hours of stage condition year round at like 45 years young.
-
Jordan answers this in one of his latest vids Richie. He goes into detail on the subject.
The short answer is pre workout. Interested in what everyone responds with on the nolva question but personally, I like to run nova offseason. In precontest I break into the adex and even letrozole at the end of the diet to ensure nothing gets converted to fat stores. Plus at this point, I am not trying to build muscle, just hold onto as much as I can.
That being said, I know that Jordan does not like letrozole. I am going to do everything I can to avoid it next time. Make no mistake, it is definitely the most toxic, and it has its repercussions…..huge estrogen rebound when you stop using it. -
Yeah. Of course you know that Jordan will be brutally honest with everything and super informative as well as inspirational.
But as a guy from the US who is not as familiar with UK bodybuilding, I was also very impressed with Anth Bales. Being a diabetic pro bodybuilder cannot be easy.
