MemberAugust 23, 2019 at 10:23 am in reply to: 10 days out of 2nd show – straight into Rebound Log30kg over last stage weight is pretty hefty! I’ve considered doing the same to be honest. Are you worried about getting fat by putting on so much weight? Or have you found you need to get a little fat personally to grow?
In the past I’ve always had to get a little chubby to be honest, end of last season was not pretty at 110kg after competing at 82kg a year before . But after a long cruise I started prep 105kg because I dropped a shed load of water, then competed at 89kg.
If it helps me hit my goals I have no quarms putting on fat. I probably won’t go straight to 115-120kf, there probably a hold and mini cut due before then, maybe half way. Also I’m taking longer than the 16 months between shows this time around, will see how we go!

Looking thick mate! Deffinetly some decent tissue added. Got a goal weight you want to push up too?
Thanks! Erm over the next year is I want to get close to 120kg or so. I usually drop 20-22kg for shows, so I figure hitting about that will have me top- end of heavyweights. That said if I “only” hit a leanish 115 I’m not gonna cry about it lol

You’ll blow the fuck up with that stack and after rest/cruise ????????????????

Training has been rediculously good.Would love to see some updates mate! What are your macros and weight now? How’s offseason going? [/quote]
Hi mate, I trailed off this log quite badly whoops. Off season has been good, I’m about 105kg AM now which is 16kg above stage weight after almost 25 weeks. Approaching half year mark soon.
Here’s my last update sent To my coach 2 weeks ago (on vacation at the moment).
Current macros are 285/400/90 5 days a week 285/570/90 2 days a week. -
Probably due to him having one of the if not the best eyes in the game ^^

Haha, a few of us had a feeling this would be announced soon. Great show to do, will be good to see how you stack up.
It’s like 6 weeks off the top of my head?

^^ Copy and paste “1/3 cup cream of rice equivalent to in grams?”into google and it will come up lol

I’ve just added low bar squats back into my own routine, I have the same issues with the elbows.
I have started doing a 5 minute shoulder/wrist stretch session before the session and in between sets which seems to help. Are you doing/going to start doing something similar?

Such a real, down to earth post. It’s so interesting to see you disect yourself like that.
You said it may take a while to fix the ýears of abuse’ to the midsection, I assume you are referring to super high food, pushing bodyweight right up as high as possible etc?
Do you think you could have gotten to this level of muscularity without doing that however?
