couple of reps to warm up.
Add some plates 1/2 reps
Add some more 1/2 reps
Add all the plates going all-in.
Backoff set going all-in.
Next exc.
So he does 4-6 total reps before going to his all-out heaviest weight. I don’t think so, that’s a recipe for injury. I was looking for a specific example ie from next workout -

Great detail in this log, will be following along. How long did you wait from your last show of the year to go into your rebound!? A week or 2!?
I should be checking out your gym later this week, I’m in Sheffield anyway catching up with mates

Hi mate – had a good read through but don’t think this was answered. Usually (I think) most of you guys like to “hold” a new high weight for a while before dieting. To get the body used to the weight, create a new set point, maybe solidify muscle if that’s a thing (not literally) lol. But it doesn’t seem you did that this time!? Is that just because you had a show in mind and because you mentioned the new high weight was pretty uncomfortable!? Thanks

Have spent the last 3 commutes (train) to work reading the entirety of this thread. Awesome info. I remember seeing you with Luke at the Aussie Arnold’s maybe after pre judging and you looked like a fridge lol!
This prep looks like it’s going well – would love to see you sweep the floor with one of these shows and grab the card!
