08DEC – PUSH Day (Chest Focused)
I didn’t do as much chest as originally planned cause my chest was still a little sore from Saturday’s PUSH Session but I should be good to go by next Chest Focused PUSH Day since this Saturday’s PUSH Day will be Shoulder Focused.

Nice physique takeo, I feel you need muscle all over to compete in the pro ranks, mostly bodybuilding classes. do you have to compete in 24 weeks or can you give yourself a bit more time?
IMO big deals take time due diligence takes time, ticking the right boxes takes time. Big things take time & that includes a pro debut physique which is a big deal. Do you have a coach ?

I appreciate it Oscar. And the only reason why I’m pushing for 24weeks progression phase is that I’m planning on competing about 11weeks after that. So 24weeks of pushing nutrition and training and then begin to diet down after that. I’ve never done a full off season with growth or anabolics so this will be the first off season/progression phase with it. I know it takes time to build but my training partner is competing in his final pro show at the same show I plan on debuting at. That’s why I’m pushing for that specifically. He’s the one whose been pushing me day in and day out and ultimately helped me earn my pro card a couple of weeks ago. I do have a coach but my time with him technically ends in March before I have to pay him for another year.

Here’s some stage pictures so you can see what I’m needing to improve on. In my opinion, it’s overall back development, hamstrings, and arms.

    Hey buddy, firstly well done!
Personally I don’t mind a little extra volume so doing sets on a few exercises is fine by me. However. I would add in a rowing movement to target the very lower lat. Also I would drop 1 of the bicep exercises out as they’re going to be hit more frequently you don’t need to give them as much volume.

I appreciate it! And yeah, it’s either going to be the chest supporter tbar or cable rows. But definitely noted on the biceps, I just have weak arms so I figured a little extra volume couldn’t hurt ha

Well done man. Fancy giving me one? Haha.
I think pull over higher reps to get more blood in and prime for the rest of the session.
With all the straight sets with 6-8 reps I think your restricting your self to one rep range. Load in the 6-8 then back off in the 10-15 rep range. That way your getting strong across all rep ranges which imo will bring about better results than just hitting the lower ranges.
Also I’d be taking all sets to failure and logging them and aiming to beat them the next session you come to do it.

Cheers. I’ll definitely adjust the workout with those tips. And definitely logging everything, going to beat every workout even if it’s just by a 5lb plate.
