Hey kuba, currently using 4iu of hgh split 2iu am fasted and 2iu pre bed. In the last few weeks of my push up before maintenance phase, blood sugar has been in perfect range the entire time, and riding my peak dose of androgens at 700mg total load. Was looking to make a very slight bump in growth to 4.5iu/day which i know is not going to be extremely noticeable but i have been extremely consistent with everything so i think even a slight stimulus may have some added recovery benefit as i move into peak training load as well.

In this scenario would you opt to keep the split dosing the same, or would you opt for a 3x per day protocol. I know its probably a miniscule difference but i want to make sure im doing everything as “optimal” as i can.

    Hey Kuba, two questions here.
    1) tips on programming for specificity within a 2 day on, 1 day off ppl split with 2 rotations (total 9 day rotation split). Specificity being very slightly biased for arms/top line/lats (figured i could bias 3 body parts as arms typically are relatively low fatigue driving). Less bias for quads.

    2) would you continue to do hiit cardio on devolume/deload weeks in the offseason? I typically run 10 min hiit on off days, but for my devolume and deloads i do a frequency pull as well as a volume pull, leaving me with more off days. Would you continue to run those hiit sessions on those added off days for energy balance consistency, would you program so that those hiit sessions are consistent as usual, or would you pull them entirely to remove all training modalities that are driving fatigue?

    Thanks again!

Morning guys, weight is 208.4lbs this morning, last week here at MEV before a devolume week. Overall incredibly happy with the progress i’ve made so far through the first phase of the offseason, 24lbs up, strongest i’ve been, lowest total androgen load I’ve been on since my first cycle (600mg).

Cycle update: was on 300 test E, 300 Primo E per week, after getting bloods at the 6 week mark and estrogen coming back at a 12, which is definitely not optimal, i made the decision to up the test to 400, lower primo to 200, and will pull bloods again soon to see how the subtle change effected my estrogen. Keep in mind I was around 7% on the DEXA at the time i pulled bloods, so my E2 conversion was definitely lower as a result of that, hopefully the cycle adjustment and a little bodyfat gain would bump that number up. Shooting for 40-60 E2 on this next round of bloods, as I will be throwing in NPP in the last phase of the offseason so I don’t want E2 to be high before then, as NPP can exacerbate aromatization, but want enough E2 to facilitate its health outcomes and anabolism.

So far, training has been incredible. Have been riding a great wave of recovery and adaptation for a while now, but a few niggles, motivation loss, and a little immune system degradation is enough for me to know a devolume would be to my benefit soon.

Diet has been great, still no off plan meals this offseason. Some may not agree with this approach, but as of right now I don’t really have the opportunity to enjoy off plan meals with others due to my work schedule, as well as most of my friends being on prep. Which is perfectly fine with me, as I don’t really have cravings anymore, and i dont really see the point of eating off plan unless a social event is involved. This approach of purely clean eating has been great for my body composition and great for my overall performance and energy. I’ve been incorporating some Vertical Diet principles to aid in digestion and ensure sufficient micronutrient intake throughout the day, which I can go into more detail if anyone pleases.

Overall feeling great, after the devolume we’ll incorporate a little bit more volume, mainly from isolation movements that are not going to have a high stimulus to fatigue ratio. Still debating on how to incorporate the new volume, whether it will mainly be higher rep ranged metabolic work, or perhaps a little more lower rep range high threshold motor unit work. Will update later on this!

I agree with Oscar here. Also adding in a 3rd rotation would leave a long gap between Rotation A and a very long split over 14 days. Stick as you are and rinse this current set up and take as much progression as you can before revisiting making changes

Thank you Marc, will stick with the current set up as advised! You are looking amazing btw and can’t wait to see you do some damage, I’ve been pulling inspiration from your offseason transformation, so thank you very much not only for the advice but for the inspiration you put out as well

I would stick to the current rotation If it works .. do not add another pull from the floor & not when you only have 2 sleeps on between.

Thank you Oscar! Love your content man, definitely have been following and will continue to do so, will stick with the current set up as of now, thank you again brother 🙂

My input would be to keep testing that blood glucose fasted, and 2 hours after your large carb meals. If you see a rise then lantus at 10-20iu may be beneficial to take load off the pancreas. Highly depends on your total daily caloric intake though, I wouldn’t say lantus really is warranted at anything less than 5000 calories per day, majority of calories coming from carbs. Also highly individual, keep track of hba1c as well as this will be a big picture indicator of how your body has been processing glucose recently.

Look at vigorous steve and leo and longevity’s videos on beta blockers and bodybuilding. Monitor your heart rate daily, gear use will impact this and the effect the beta blocker has on lowering your heart rate, the lowering of blood pressure may be beneficial if you run high bp on gear usually but monitor that as well.

Morning all, 203.2 this morning, 201.8 average this week exactly 1lb up from last. Some current check ins, quite happy with my conditioning at this weight, though I do feel like a water buffalo, which is fine for now.

Haha that is crazy man!!! Glad to see you on here feel free to participate
Hey bro read you worked with Bleu and didn’t go so well!

I’ve been with him for 7 weeks now(doing 10 week offseason and a 20 week prep.

He hasn’t changed a single thing with my food, training or supps and I’m starting to feel like I’m 1 in 300 of his clients that just get a cookie cutter approach.

Carbs are at 160 now for 7 weeks for OFF-SEASON and I’m thinking to part ways here soon.
What did you run for your prep -I’m on primo/npp-75 mg eod/ test e -150 eod, 5 iu gh split 3x/day for off season
Amazing physique btw Brian! Whatever you decide doing I hope you stay active on my log 🙂 Def will keep up with your progress as well

ive worked with bleu and its the same across the board.. prep time , starve, high t3, 6 days training, etc… youll get peeled but at the cost of looking like a pancake lol

Yup! Didnt work with him on prep, but did go through the huge cut with him. Protocols are extreme on the androgens, gh, and fat burners, food low, cardio high, training frequently (which to be fair i didnt follow his training, i have access to some of the best equipment in the world, im not coming into the gym to do a squat day of 10 sets of 10 with 30 seconds rest in between and leave, just not what i think is optimal for me)

Hey Brian, yes he wasn’t as detail oriented as I would have liked, I mean going into it you realize he does have 100’s of clients located globally , so attention isn’t exactly what you’re getting when someone’s attention is spread so thin, then again some people don’t need that insane level of attention. But I know how you feel, the main thing that did it for me was the binge restrict model created in the diet, where basically he would suck me down for a week and then allow me to have a cheat meal once a week after chest. Needless to say that one meal did me in for a few days after with bloat.

As far as protocol was concerned, pretty conservative as far as what I was running when I was with him. I was already running 125 test e eod, 200 primo eod, he didnt touch that. He did up my gh from 3iu to 4.5 gh split am/pm/pre. I think for the last two weeks of working with him we did throw 50mg of anavar in the mix at the end as my training performance on zero fuel went to shit.

    Looking good buddy!

Out of curiosity what did Bleu Taylor want you to run? I have seen and heard a few of his protocols and he certainly doesn’t hold back!

Hey Mark, basically the cycle he wanted me to run to rebound off of the crash diet was 700 eq, 750 test, 800 primo, 6iu hgh split am pre fasted cardio, pre workout, and before bed, 20iu humalog split pre/post, and he mentioned getting tren E on hand. Basically diet was no carbs, maybe 150g cooked weight rice pre workout if i was lucky, 25g intra, rest of diet was fish/shrimp and veggies, egg whites, or protein powder. Me never have taken doses near to that, i figured we just have different ways of going about things and decided to part ways due to this.
