Kind of a silly question JP, but do you use a specific website or other reference when calculating macros for someone’s nutrition plan? Or do you just go off the labels?
Looking forward to your next training ebook. -
Anyone????

Are you referring to DC Training? Dante Trudel is the one who was working with Justin Harris, Steve Kuclo and now Dusty Hanshaw.
That program has worked best for me, but I’ve been watching and learning how JP does things. Once I have a more solid foundation about how he sets things up, I’ll definitely give it a good year and see what happens. It obviously works for him and his clients. -
You need to get some blood work done and some cardiac testing like a stress test, echocardiogram, 12 Lead and if available, cardiac CT scan. Find a doctor who practices “Functional Medicine.” They like to find the root cause of your problem and treat that, not just throw medication at you.

Just had some extensive blood work done (14 tubes of blood drawn,) and when they took my BP right before the draw, it was 118/78. I’m 43, 285lbs and my body fat is higher than I want it to be, but at least I’m able to keep the BP in check. Now I just have to get the body fat down.

This should be interesting! Can’t wait to get it!

That’s a good question. I’ve been told that as long as your mechanics are correct, these shouldn’t be an issue but I’m not sure how true that is. I would like to hear other’s opinion on these.

Just a thought. Maybe try and push the carbs higher on the weekend, around 300-350gm. Try that for a few weeks and see if that gets things moving again.
How long are your training sessions? Even though you have carbs on the weekend, if you’re doing marathon workouts, that could be part of the equation. When doing low carb diets, training, from what I’ve read and witnessed, need to be short and sweet, low(er) volume like what JP does or even the DC routine.
Just some thoughts. Hope you reach your goal!!

Ruptured my triceps last year. I would advise you have an MRI done ASAP and if you need surgery, get it done sooner rather than later.

Push those sets to complete failure…..it will be enough.
