Delts and arms session was decent. Still got an issue on left side with pressing but fuck it, just one of them things now. Will have treatment to make it less uncomfortable but I think it’s just something that’s always going to be there now.

3rd exercise in. That’s where it’s always appeared in my sessions.

Rest day today. Feeling loads better now, so touch wood the man flu is gone for good!! Really chilled day today just did food shop, tidied the house and then went cinema to watch Jumani. Defo see it if you haven’t yet, class film.

Off to hit Delts and arms in the morning at my usual gym. Looking forward to a solid session in the bag. Nobody does this shit for you, you have to get your ass going and put the work in. Just depends how bad you want it. Goes for all aspects of life.

Check in yesterday too. Bodyweight down from 237.6 to 235.2lbs. Always happens when I’ve had a few more meals off plan than usual, I just struggle to get the calories in weirdly.

Hit pull and hams yesterday , good session. Did it at a new gym near my house as my usual gym was having work done. Had a few bits of decent kit but no atmosphere, dark lighting which I hate and shit music lol. There’s loads of these new gyms opening claiming to be the best and trying to compete with places like Ultraflex. Problem is they’re often run by people who have never trained HARD or built a physique themselves.

Hit the numbers I wanted anyway and can feel I’m back to feeling normal again which is good. Need a good hard push now to get weight up and strength and really build some tissue.

Road trip with couple of the lads from home to TMU gym in Barnsley. Great gym can tell it’s built by someone who knows how to train. Top kit and a good atmosphere to work hard.
Trained chest and arms. As was first session back after man flu I just did my usual session but without going to failure. Get back into things and then build from there.

This evening was spent with the family and friends seeing new year in. Always like to have those closest to me with me on NYE. Reminds you of what really matters.

Happy New Year all. Do whatever will make it a positive year for you and those around you.

Much better today. Chilled out and got meals in. Did some mortgage work. Back in gym tomorrow. Session at Rob Taylor’s TMU Gym with some of my boys. Good environment to get back to it. Chest and arms.

Still feeling rough but better than the day before. Just had a chilled day not doing anything. Couple more and should be good again.

You’ll be looking between £120 to £150 a month for a coach I’d say. Some may charge less and some internationally known will charge a lot more. But between £120 and £150 is normal.
Don’t let it make you skint though. Remember other costs – food, supplements, gear (I’d assisted), gym membership etc. Make sure you can afford these things as a coach is only useful if you can afford to put in place what they recommend.

Another day spent in bed recovering. Got up about 1pm and had a bit of food. Started to feel more human as the days gone on so went to see some mates for the evening for some dinner and catch up.

Tomorrow I’ll be loads better. Rest is the answer in these situations. Do not try train through it. Get the calories in however you can don’t stress that. Few days won’t hurt. Better to recover however works best for you than try following a plan and prolong feeling shit.

I’d go back to a basic beginners cycle. Great chance to start from fresh and build in a ‘healthy’ way. Just test to begin with will be plenty for first few cycles. Then go from there. Great place to be again.
