Will depend on flexibility. Initially mid shin might be your limit until you become more flexible. Also depends how you personally feel the movement. Coming past mid shin might not work for you. So people will work within their ‘range’.

Checkin this morning. 239.4 lbs on wake. Body composition changing for the better still. Weight up a tiny bit. Replacing 75g of granola in the evening on training days with 30g nut butter.

Back and hams was bang on this morning. All lifts progressed. On a good roll with training now. Just gotta keep pushing hard as possible until gyms open then assess what happens from there.

Im not sure. If it’s regarding anabolics then I can’t imagine it’s strict as there’s a couple prison officers who train at a gym I go to and they’re both juiced up lol

I just make sure meals are eaten to plan, sleep is good and recovery is good leading up to it. Then just a case of blocking everything else out when I get in gym, put a decent track on and go for it. Worse case scenario I die lol.

Solid performance in the gym this morning. Delts and arms done. Set the deadstop BB press up wrong though, it was too low. Thought it felt different but kept going with it and felt proper heavy. Ahh well, all gains right?! Lol. Had a bit longer in the session today as nobody was booked in after me so was able to recover a bit more between sets which was good. All noted in the log book of course haha.
Rest of the day was work and evening chills. Watched Law Abiding Citizen. Oldy but a goldie!!

Depending on your level of experience and years training i would take a look through the education section and work out where you are. You may need to start from the beginning or you may be more advanced. Watch the videos and then if you have further questions post them.

Badass legs and back session this morning. All lifts progressed again! Feeling great both in and out of the gym. Been good having a mix of heavy sets with lower reps and then high rep sets. Some sets I’ve just gone to failure and not bothered having a number in mind. Had some mad pumps it’s been class.
Rest of the day was work and then food shop and prep. Good start to the week.

Checked in with myself today. Body weight is 238.6lbs so a little drop which will be some water weight. This always happens when I use gear. Spike in weight due to water then drops off. No changes to food as need to see out this period until gyms open whilst on a low dose of test and then push up from there.
Great session this morning. All lifts progressed by weight and/or reps. Looking forward to getting back to the regular gym so I can progress other movements I’m not able to do right now.

Hi mate hope your well … quick one I have a similar job being a broker.Do you not find training before work completely zaps you for the rest of the day ( more so pull , legs) and then can’t fully function at work? I would train on a night but I’m still making calls until 7-8 pm as I guess you are too![/quote]
Hey Jay, yeah i find after some sessions it batters me but I just smash some coffees haha. You could try putting one of the heavy duty sessions on a Saturday or Sunday. That helps. But to be honest there’s no way round it as mid week I’m like you and need to be free in evenings to make calls ideally. Or you could try training at say 4pm and then back home ready to make some calls in the evening.

    Hi Ellen,

That particular muscle doesn’t need lots of isolation movements as it’s worked during other exercises. I have 1 exercise for rear delts in my chest session and one in my delts session.

Rest day today. Bit of work in the office and then off for a walk. Film in the evening and a tasty Thai chicken curry.
Nice fun weekend ahead starting with a chest session tomorrow.

Seems strange you always get doms and just in hamstrings. Are you sure it’s not an injury? If recovery is spot on you shouldn’t be experiencing doms if you’re regularly training hamstrings.
