Hi mate, if you refer back to some of the earlier videos uploaded to the site Jordan discusses beginners, intermediate and advanced user cycles. There is also a video regarding use of arimadex etc. These videos will give you a good guide.

Definitely made an error today. Decided to hit the spa centre at the hotel this morning until midday. Was so relaxing and calming, too calming !! Today was leg day and man I was struggling to hype myself up after the spa session. Note to self, spa AFTER gym or on rest day only.

Anyway, session got handled and numbers all hit and progressed ???????? strength definitely back up so I’m looking forward what mini targets can be hit whilst strength is going back up and calories are still high.

Yeah split your dose into two jabs same day but 2 different sites.

So my total ml of anabolics is 5.2ml on a Monday and same again on a Thursday. I will split this into two barrels. So roughly 2.6ml in each barrel and then pin left and right quad, or left and right delt etc.

Quality rest day today. Went for treatment at mofo body mechanics Batley clinic. Aaron fixing me up as always. Then headed to a spa hotel over at Clumber Park for some chill time. Went for a walk around Clumber Park which was beautiful. Had a coffee by the big lake and took in the natural beauty. Can’t beat being out in the open, clears the mind and slows life down. Went back to the hotel after to use the spa facilities and just chat and relax. Couldn’t wish for a better rest day.

All meals were prepped and made up beforehand and the portable mini fridge was taken to store them all. No reason you can’t have fun and stay on track if you plan properly.

As Clare says, the level of ‘DOMS’ you feel after a workout isnt going to determine how strong you are getting and how much you are progressing.

For example, if you stopped training for a few months and then had a first session back you would ache for a while, but you wouldn’t have been at your strongest. Also, the more you perform a set routine the less you will ‘ache’ but each time you hit the session you will be progressing the lifts (assuming diet and recovery are bang on).

Pull rotation 3 today at Ultraflex Rotherham. Great session and strength increased. Lifts progressed by weight and/or reps. Rack deads were 260kg for 8 up from 6 reps. This will get back up to 280kg I am positive, for 8-10 reps.

Rest day tomorrow and heading to a spa for weekend. All meals as per plan, taking mini fridge. Can still do ‘normal’ things within reason when prepping, just got to be organised. I like to stay as active as possible that way you don’t think about being tired or hungry. Got some treatment tomorrow morning with Aaron at mofo mechanics. Right leg is a bit tight and glute, transferring into hip so need to get sorted.

Push session rotation 3 this morning was a success. Strength is on the up again, I can feel it. Couple of the movements that had dipped last time round were up by either reps or weight, or both. Only the 1st week back on full cycle and we are off to a flying start.

Had check in with Jordan this morning and weight has jumped from 235.0 lbs to 240.2 lbs. this will be due to going back on cycle and will level out over the next week. Always 5lbs jump in weight whenever I start a new cycle so was to be expected and doesn’t concern me or Jordan. Food has stayed the same again and im in a good place. Mentally and physically. The countdown is well and truly on for PCA finals.

I believe it is something to do with amino acids in your body being used for energy, and in order to do this the body has to convert it into a useable form. And during the process of this the body gets rid of excess nitrogen through the kidneys and then urine. But the kidneys can’t handle all the nitrogen so it leaves as sweat and that causes the ammonia smell.

I may have this completely wrong but just something I’d read a while back as Jordan had mentioned the ammonia smell when he was training.

Maybe @jordanpeters or @drdeanstmart could shed more light. My knowledge is very limited on that topic.

Hey , glad you have been smart and getting your health in check. Main thing above all else for me is maintaining a good level of health.

With regards to pushing it during a diet I personally go all out. Every set I give it my all. I try to push the weight until the very end. The final couple of weeks I’m a bit more careful as not to try any crazy pb’s on certain movements but I wouldn’t purposely start reducing the weight. I then go away and recover completely. I do a day job away from the gym but even still I make sure recovery is on point as much as possible. Going to bed at a reasonable time, relaxing in the evenings, just verbally reducing anything that could increase stress.

Wow this rest day was needed after yesterday’s leg session. One thing that has been a great help with recovery has been the use of Halcyon post workout. I find it really relaxes me and has reduced general stress and anxiety which due to the nature of my day job can be quite high. I really recommend anybody who hasn’t tried this product yet from the JP range to give it a go. Please let me know how you’re finding it if you’re already using it. If not, please try and then let me know how you find it.

Tomorrow morning I’ll be hitting push session and I’m going to try and film a few movements and upload to insta. Not very good at that as train on my own but I’ll give it a go.

    Hi Tim,

How is your offseason physique going? Some shape update incoming? Before you drop the hammer for prep ????

    Hey mate,

How are you? Offseason shape has been held nicely I feel. Built some tissue in the areas that needed it and I believe when I diet down for October Finals there will be some noticeable improvements.

Got check in tomorrow morning with Jordan so I’ll get some update pics on my Instagram.

Yeah this can happen on Jack, especially if trying to push more weight than you can move with good form.

If yours works fine then stick with that.

So today was legs and it was filmed for the site. Me and the Giant Jamie hit this session HARD at his gym (Ilkeston gym). The big nasty movement was the hack squat. I followed Jamie’s programme so didn’t have numbers to hit so I just wanted to match/beat whatever Jamie did. It was a great session and was pleased to match Jamie in most of the exercises. There were a few I fell short on but still pushed my limits as couldn’t step down from the challenge.
