    Hi Tim,

    Loving following the log.

    1) What do you do for a living?

    2) If you had to round up three people for the most intense training session of your life, who would they be?

    3) If you could only eat one source of protein for the remainder of the year, what would that be?

    4) Was there any bro myths you followed when you first got into bodybuilding that you now look back at and think “what the fuck was I doing?”

    Hi Isaac,

    Glad you’re enjoying.

    1. I’m a self employed mortgage broker.

    2. The three people for the most intense session would be – Dorian Yates, Corinne and Ronnie Coleman. All 3 have different approaches to training but all 3 I’ve watched many videos of training and it just draws you in. There’s just something about each of them that screams intensity.

    3. One source of protein for the rest of the year for me would be white fish. Love fish.

    4. I think I followed a ‘eat big to get big’ approach but got it completely wrong. I was eating KFC regularly, not weighing food, completely overeating.

low row I’ve found has been useful. Look at the last and where they start from at lowest point and where they cover. So when you select your exercises and movements you are mindful of this and not selecting randomly or not ‘feeling’ it where you should be. But ultimately it will be how you are structured which cannot change. Some have developed lower and some more upper.

Had a great push session today. Strength held from last time the session was hit which was nice. Only going to go up from here. Meant to be pull session tomorrow but because of filming for the site I’ll be hitting legs with Jamie. There’s been enough time between last leg session to hit it hard again and with today being a push session rather than pull the lower back hasn’t been fatigued.

Will be interesting to see how performance is again training at 4pm after a number of meals, should have plenty in the tank to make it a good one.

Prepare has a low dose of caffeine so should be fine for you. Sustained focus throughout the session, great pump, and no crash like high stim pre workouts.

Nice easy Sunday today enjoy the sunshine and rest day. Had a walk into town to my favourite coffee shop and just chilled and chatted. Then visited the parents for a bit. And rest of the afternoon/evening was spent on the green outside my house where there was some live music going on. Great Sunday ????
Back to work tomorrow ready for a busy week. Hitting push tomorrow so ready to get the numbers!!

Can be done but as has already been mentioned, fuel up night before and have a good Intra workout drink( mps max and sustain). Very important as well to make sure you are properly hydrated after sleep, get up a good 60-90 mins before training and allow your body to wake up. Make sure you get at least a litre or more down before starting.

Legs rotation 2 this morning. Main movement was smith squat. Disappointed to only hit 200kg plus bar for 5. Wanted 8. Next time it will happen as will have been back on full cycle a couple of weeks. Rest of the exercises were improved on so was happy.

Should see strength start to climb again now which is nice. Grow into the show.

I would be speaking with your coach and asking them. You will get varied opinions on here as to what you should be doing. Your coach knows why they have recommended this so speak with them and if you aren’t happy discuss with them or find a coach you trust and follow their advice and guidance. Jordan sets out everything for me and I wouldn’t be asking other people their advice on what he has advised as Jordan knows me and my body and the reason why he suggests something. This will be the same with your coach.

Rest day today and a nice busy day in the office. Having a chilled weekend this weekend after the busy one last weekend. Nice to not having anything going on now and again. Will train tomorrow morning then head out somewhere to enjoy the good weather.

Started blast cycle today so hopefully strength starts climbing again over next few weeks.

I personally think you either need to run a split such as upper/lower/rest and repeat that if you like the two on, one off routine. The way you have set out for ‘torso and limbs’ workout is close to an upper / lower split.

Check out videos on here for how to lay out the session in terms of exercise selection.

Push session rotation 2 this morning and went well given the slight drop in strength. Approaching the session with the mentality of “as long as I give my all then i will have gained the most from the session”. Strength may be down but intensity and effort are not. They are always a constant.

Jordan has set out the following cycle which will start tomorrow now that cruise phase is over and bloods are good:

    600mg test e
    500mg primo
    300mg Mast p
    0.5 arimadex 3 times a week
All anabolics are dosed weekly and split into two doses – tues and fri.

If what you refer to is Phil saying it increases the risk of injury then this is the case with ANY movement when you are progressing lifts. The risk is always there and can be prevented to a point by warming up, stretching, massage work etc but cannot be entirely avoided. Unless you are using a weight far too heavy for you to control or using very poor form then there is no one specific exercise that is more dangerous than another.

I believe it was mentioned that there is no difference between an RDL and SLDL when there actually is, if performed correctly.

But to address your point regarding the benefit…there is a great benefit as is clearly seen through the guys performing this movement week in week out and their back development. Certainly something I would be implementing if you haven’t tried this. Build slowly like any movement and you will have great success with it.

Great session as always at Ultraflex. PULL rotation 2. Main movement was Tbar row. Weight had to be lowered slightly from 135kg to 130kg to maintain good enough form and control. Other lifts were down slightly in terms of weight or reps.

Had blood results back and all looks okay. Just been advised to add 500mg ip6 am and pm to reduce haematology values. No major issues which is pleasing but also what I expected given Jordan’s attention to detail and smart approach when looking at suitable cycles and health support.

Will be looking to start blast phase leading up to comps as of next week and will most likely be test e, Mast p and primo but waiting for Jordan to confirm.
