Great workout this morning at Gymland, the only bodybuilding gym on the island. The owner was really welcoming and genuinely pleased to have us there. The range of kit was perfect for the session today so every exercise could be done as per plan. Pouring with sweat from the first exercise onwards, perfect!! Did PULL rotation 1.

Spent the afternoon at the beach 2 minutes from the hotel which was very quiet. Sea was lovely and calm too. Headed to the hotel pool for a nap after that on the big beds which is a holiday must every day!! Then the evening we went to a local restaurant – I went for a selection of grilled meat with salad and some potato, simple but tasty.

Tomorrow will be heading an hour to the very north of the island to a little fishing village to take in the history of the island and then stop at a couple of highly recommended beaches on the way back.

Woke up today to stunning views again, perfect blue sky and the sound of pure peace and quiet. Perfect haha.

Had pre workout meal and just about to head off to the gym for first session there. Looking forward to it.

Rest of the day will be spent at a beach nearby reading and listening to podcasts, and bit of walking over the rocks. Love to see what I can find, never grown out of this from being a kid!!

    Hey Corinne ????

Away for 1 week. Just enough time to switch off from my day job. Gone with my girlfriend so it’s nice to have a bit of company for this holiday. First summer holiday in a couple of years where I’ve not gone on my own so I’m having to remember to wait for her and not just go wandering off haha.

Hotel is stunning. Very calming and peaceful, it’s set right into the hill overlooking the bay. So quiet and the staff are very attentive, nothing you ask for is too much. Been able to say exactly how much chicken or beef or rice etc I need for each meal it’s great haha.

If you ever want to visit a Greek island and have a car to explore I’d recommend this little island for how natural and calming it is.

Had an amazing stop at a hotel in the main town of the island. Had booked the rooftop suit with views across the harbour and over to the hills. Stunning views to wake up to. Had a hot tub up there too so was perfect just to chill in there in the morning.

Went over to a smaller town after this to the next hotel where I’m staying for the next week and it’s just as beautiful. Views over the bay. Chose a spa hotel as wanted somewhere to completely unwind and recharge the batteries before a busy 6 months of training hard for comps and work in the office.

Had dinner out at a restaurant overlooking the sea and watched the sun set. My ideal setting.

Exactly what @bigbenchriche says. If you have to train 3 days in a row then rest day then 1 day then rest day, or 2 days on, 1 day off, 1 day on, 1 day off etc. It doesn’t matter how they fall you just make it fit. As long as the sessions are hit HARD and diet is on point you’ll make the progress.

Landed in Kefalonia lunchtime today and welcomed by 35 degree heat, clear sky and clear blue water. Slight change to the British summer!! Had an explore of the town and scopes out the local bodybuilding gym which actually looks like it’ll be good. The owner seems very welcoming to bodybuilders and there are pictures of guys who have competed at a good level so will be fun hitting some sessions there.

All meals have been as per plan today apart from meal 5 which is at a restaurant that im about to head to. Checked the menu earlier and I’ll be having sea bass with rice and veg which is basically same as plan meal anyway apart from the 100g salmon that I’d have had with it too.

There are different training methods which for certain exercises will exaggerate the negative of a movement say slowing it to 10 secs but I’d say ‘normal’ would be around 3 seconds.

Legs rotation 1 today. Wanted to beat banded hack squat from last session but only matched again. All other lifts were matched which to be honest I think will be the case for this final couple weeks of cruise phase. Every session will be hit so hard to make sure strength is maintained as to protect the tissue built.

Off to Kefalonia for a week tomorrow. Found a gym out there so training will be done as normal. Meals will be hit as per plan apart from evening meal which will be at a restaurant but will be seafood mostly so all very healthy meals.

If your week allows you to then I’d rest between pull and legs. In all honesty it would be simpler to stick to PUSH PULL REST LEGS REST REPEAT. If you have lagging body parts like arms then hit them after PUSH AND PULL.

PUSH rotation 1 this morning. Lifts were matched from previous session but to be honest it’s as expected at this stage of the cruise phase. 6 weeks into cruise of 250mg per week test e so naturally strength will stall somewhat but it’s been increased during the first few four/five weeks and then held this last week so I’m pleased as is Jordan. I had the drive from the start of the cruise phase to continue to grow in strength and size and that helped going into each session. There was never an excuse of “oh I’m on cruise phase so no progress can be made”. This was as if not more important than being on cycle as I was not going to surrender any of the tissue built.

Check in day today too and weight is 236.8lbs. Body composition still good consider its 31 weeks into offseason. Testament to Jordan’s meticulous approach to the plan set out diet, training and drugs wise.

Off to Kefalonia on holiday Saturday morning but diet and training will be maintained out there as there is a gym close by and I’ll be able to get local fresh foods. Taking weighing scales so can follow the plan accordingly.

Try pull, push, rest, legs, rest.

Unless deep into dieting, in a surplus, then you should be progressing.

If you have been training without a rest for 3 months or more then this could be an issue. Could need a rest week then go at the new split again.

PULL rotation 3 today at Ultraflex Rotherham. Early morning session. Wanted to beat rack deads but only managed to match it – 260kg for 8. But the back off set got beaten by 2 reps – 240kg for 10. Some of the kit is different to my regular gym so it’s hard to gauge whether some lifts are progressed but everything was taken to absolute failure so that’s always the aim.

Tomorrow morning is PUSH rotation 1.

As the lads have said above. Genetics cannot be altered, that is what it is. Some are more dominant than others. I’ve definitely found hacks and narrow stance Smith squats have brought mine out more. Adductor and abductor work has created an illusion of bigger outer sweep too.

Rest day today so just time in the office doing mortgage work for clients. getting everything sorted before I go on holiday Saturday. I like to be organised and have all work completed before I go away so I can relax. Think it’s important to completely switch off and then not have stress of clients kicking off when you come back because they weren’t informed you were going away or work wasn’t done.

Had sports massage with Aaron tonight. Feeling the benefits massively with the treatment from Aaron. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Hitting PULL session at Ultraflex in the morning 6:30 before heading back to Derby for work.

Whey isolate with cereal would probably be best. Or whey isolate and white rice. Easily digestible.
