Been adding a 20 minute walk into my routine before meal 1. I’ll get up, have half a lemon, half a grapefruit and a shot of black coffee then head off. I feel this gets everything moving and my appetite up.

Did a bit of work in the morning before heading off to train at 1. Did delts and arms, was a great session and all lifts progressed apart from 1 set on Arnie presses and one set on close grip press. I’ll likely reach a point where strength will stall but as I’m on a very low dose of test and food isn’t particularly high it’s not a concern. Aim is to try and push strength up but keep bodyfat down.

Badass legs and back session. Progressed all movements. Feeling stronger each session. Few movements I kept weight the same as I wanted to increase reps to the top end of the range. Been having some fun too and adding the odd exercise in here and there. Been a useful time to experiment and see what really works best for me so I can use it going forward when gyms open.

Rest of the day was spent gardening and washing the car. Proper decent bank holiday weekend.

Why don’t you add a flat press? DB or Smith/barbell.
I wouldn’t say choose any particular movement over another, just get a mix. So a mix of freeweight and machine exercises that work best for you. Goes without saying if you are doing an exercise and not ‘feeling’ it then address why you aren’t feeling it. Is it a mechanical thing therefore address how you are moving the weight, or is it a structural thing and you just aren’t built for that exercise.

Went to Malvern Hills today in Worcestershire. Never been before but heard there’s a good walk to do. Really nice place and the walk was good as it was up and down hills. Views were amazing. Wanting to get to a few places for walks now we’re allowed to travel for our daily walks.
Tomorrow is quads and back. Looking forward to it.

Be careful when watching some of these techniques as some will be say powerlifting specific. The most efficient way to move a weight. Can be very different for bodybuilding. And typically the way you will train as a bodybuilder won’t be the most efficient way to move a weight as we want to almost exaggerate the movement.

Really good chest session this morning. Everything clicked nicely. Most weights were matched as I wanted to hit the top range of the reps with real tight form. Another couple weeks and I should get a response from the test that’s been introduced. I’ll continue to push strength as much as possible on current calories and then creep them up gradually when needed based on how bodies responding.
Afternoon was spend cleaning my parents patio area and walk way round the house. Pick up some brownie points ha. Good to see them.

If you have the standing DB laterals already then a cable would be a good alternative. Haider mentioned cuffs and this something you could do as your cable lateral instead of gripping the handles. Could do them standing or lying.

Headed into the office today to do a few bits now things are picking up. Headed to see the parents to get a list of jobs they need doing in their garden. If we’ve got this extra free time at the moment I’d rather spend it helping people, doing stuff I’d normally not have chance to do. Then chilled this evening and watched Pineapple Express.

Weight 234.2lbs. Maybe slightly up since doing first shot of test, this seems to happen as I’ll hold some water for the first week or two. No changes to diet as I want the test to start kicking in before changing anything here.

Back and hams trained today. Really good session and all lifts progressed by weight and/or reps. Looking forward to how things will keep progressing during lockdown and then come out of it really ready to push on harder.

    Thank you everyone !
So today I finished my intra drink about 45-50 min before I finish my session and I eat my post workout meal 30 min after the end of the session.
I felt hungry and not bloated after the training. It’s the first time in 1 year that I can eat without forcing myself.
So the problem was just the intra that I was drinking too slowly with too much water.

Solid day of work today. Definitely noticed it getting busier which is a good sign. And wow what an amazing day weather wise too. Was hard to stay strict and work all day but I managed it. Let myself out for a catch up with my friend Suki who runs the Next Fitness Model comps. Always great chatting with him as he’s very positive and forward thinking. Fortunate to have people like this around me.
Tomorrow morning I’ll do a check in with myself and then head off to train back and hamstrings.
