Happy to hear that lol, I have been doing strength sports for a decade and now about 8 weeks out from my first bodybuilding show and I am having a hard time finding that same enthusiasm for it because of that reason and also the fact that I may go to a show and be the only one in my class so all that work and I may not even get to compete.

I am not sure if you have ever talked about this but how did you transition mentally from being a performance-based athlete to a sport that is very subjective. Was it hard for you to make that transition? Any mindset shift happen?

It absorbs faster IM which can be a little harder to time for first-timers. Sub q will allow a little leeway just in case they mess things up, overdo it and need more carbs.

To add to this question when strength athletics are your only concern what would a good duration be to help reset things like insulin sesnsitivty, IGF output etc… and how long do you feel you can or should push a mini cut before performance begins to suffer?
