Jordan will have better advice for sure…

Being in a maintenance should be ok but food seems low still no? And other then 3 yolks and a little salmon I’m not sure you’re getting enough of the right fats for hormone support

At your age you’re still growing , hormone needs to thrive and be fed in my opinion. You could have slowed your body down without knowing it, maybe do need a deload / rest + more food… but I could be wrong. I know when I was 20 I was eating everything having fun and letting my body grow as much as it wanted

Yes sas thanks for your reply bud, the only thing with me is I like to stay lean and conditioned, as soon as I go into a surplus and up my food and lose a bit of condition I think I look shit and wanna cut again lol. Maybe at my age I should be growing like crazy and eating a lot of food, would probably feel better and enjoy the process a bit more

I take sertraline bud. I had bad side effect for the first 2 weeks (felt sick, diarrhoea etc.) for the next 2-3 month it was near impossible to cum lol. But apart from that all good. Been roughly a year now and no sides, I deal with overthinking situations a million times better and am at peace with my thoughts.

Hi mate I am happy to hear that mate, really happy for you bud?yes I have been on citalopram for only 4 weeks now. Haven’t seen major differences yet but probably have to give to more time. How long was it until you noticed an effect?
After a month or two I started dealing with things a little better. 6-9 months I really felt at peace with my thoughts and could deal with overthinking things rationally. It doesn’t stop everything it just allows you to deal with it so much more logically in my opinion and get on with life.
Ah I see mate yeah I’ve started to notice slight differences but I’ve only been on my higher dose of 20mg for 2 weeks so still need more time. That’s exactly what I do overthink and let things spiral out of control in my mind to the point where it causes me awful anxiety and depression, also have bad OCD. Do you know if you can take testosterone with SSRIS and how it reacts to it? And just steroids in general?

Hi mate. I have used an SSRI for the last year and it has done nothing bad for me in terms of training performance. It has only enhanced my quality of life. I know many guys who use SSRI’s and I’ve never heard anything negative training performance related.

If someone told me that taking an SSRI was going to drop my training performance by 10 percent I would still take it regardless. The quality of life benefits out weigh anything like that for me massively.

Hi buddy thanks for your reply, yes I was just wondering about how it effects training performance and certain side affects it can cause. Which one are you on if you don’t mind me asking pal?

Did it help you at all in anyway? And how did you feel on it pal?

Not massively bud, it helped with sleep and slightly better general out look. But not really with the tiredness, lack of motivation/drive etc hence why I kept back and forth with blood tests etc then they said I have underactive thyroid, or on the verge of so they put me on thyroid medication which I feel has made no difference, so I think it was low test all along to be honest
Mate I’m in exactly the same position as you, my test results came back 9.7mmol last year sometime and the doctor said it was fine. I’m 19 years old and clearly that is definitely not fine. So went on sertraline and made no difference if anything made me feel worse. I’m getting my bloods done again tomorrow for the first time since that last blood test to see if anything has changed. I think my problem may be low testosterone as well

Back in the summer a doctor told me a 3 week protocol, but It made me feel really wierd!! Then another doctor said that was too fast. So I just googled it and did it myself. So I was on 150mg Then I lowered it to 100 for a couple weeks. Then 50mg for couple A weeks now 25mg EOD. So will stop soon and hopefully won’t go all dizzy etc again!

What ssri were you on bud? I’m on sertraline and it makes me feel dreadful day in day out, awful brain fog and lethargic. I’ve been tapering off for a month taking one tablet one day and then not taking it the next and so on
