If you’re doing an IIFYM style diet, you absolutely must track “trace” macros. The difference between white fish and, say, farmed salmon can be 0g fat vs. 20g fat in a serving. Enough differences like thag and you can totally erase a deficit or a surplus (depending on current goal). If you’re on a meal plan, and you eat the same thing every day, it doesn’t really matter.

Yes. I would actually track fat from salmon and fattier meats. Anything above 10gram is Worth tracking I guess. I was thinking more like 0,4 grams of fat from rice etc.

I never have no mate. But so long as your consistent it doesn’t matter too much – keep stress to a minimum is more important 🙂

Wisely said. I think I drop tracking them for now as its less hazzle and complicated

That’s fair bud. The main thing is do what works for you and then stay consistent with this approach and then you can make any adjustments needed from there
Aye sir! Anyway I changed my mind again. Decided to track everything for a while. If I switch now food will go up higher to meet old macros targets. This is not good in a maintenance phase. 😄

It’s very much personal opinion. I do track trace but what I do is I set a certain amount of protein carbs fats that’s to be hit by main sources and then trace fills the rest so it’s all recorded down but I fill it with mainly whole foods.

I really wouldn’t worry too much about trace

Thanks Kamara. Seems like a smart thing to do it that way. 🙂

I don’t track trace. Not for myself or my clients. It’s pointless overanalysing in my opinion

I am starting to think the same. It also makes it easier if you are on holiday or for some reason have to eat off plan and have to improvise a meal with a certain amount of macros to just look at the main macros from the food you have available to get your target macros if that makes any sense. 🙂

have you hit the search button bud – endless threads on this topic.

your body is tracking it and using it wether you do or not.

so its simply a person choice.

its not like your body isn’t using the protein in the rice so its being used and calculated so to speak no matter what.

If you decide to add it in is a personal decision – as long as your consistent it doesn’t matter.

I include all proteins personally as the body does include them all.

There is no inaccuracy unless your changing what you eat daily – 900g carbs from rice to 900g carbs from potato for example.

so the total kcal is potentially the same but the total protein count is different but for most they are eating either the same foods day to day or small amounts so it doesn’t matter.

As you can see its an area that you can go round in circles with

Thanks Peter. Yes I use the sesrch function but get no results when I searched this or any other topic. I might think there is a technical issues there. Apologize for making a new topic on this.

Yes I agree the consistency matters. 🙂 Thanks for your reply it makes perfect sense. 🙏

I agree with Rhea the blueberry and vanilla ice cream is unreal.

But I also don’t have mine mixed I have my whey as a paste on top 🙂

I am actually going to try this now. The paste on top thing.

I think you should stop making threads in the sponsored athletes subforum section. Thats step number 1 in my humble opinion.

wait, is it such a problem that I ask people who know something.. they know what they are looking at and they love this sport … …. look, I’m sorry that I offended you I will not write anything more … have a nice day
Its not a problem that you ask questions. Just do it in the proper place. This is about respect for the athletes that worked their way up for decades earning their right to make threads in this forum section.

Posting here for random questions make it seem like you dont respect the forum or the other athletes and will perhaps reduce your chances to get help.

In Norway at least all the cereal choices have the same macros more or less, so simply go by taste or rotate them if you like all of them 🙂

You looked insane guest posing. I also am impressed how you autoregulate food so easily in a cut. You most know how your body react really well.

Hey. The NPP is kept low in the cycle just to have a nandrolone in the stack? Or is there another specific reason? Thank you in advance for your reply🙂

Thanks Peter. Its good news to me that they do not have to be ran together. Everytime I hear a podcaster or read on insulin use in the off season they are mentioned in the context of HGH as if the synergy between them is so good you can always want to run them together. However if I can run insulin alone if I can not afford the GH and get better results that is very good indeed.

Opinion on using 2 ius year around daily versus 4 uis while on cycle?
