Hey bud- I was in the same situation. Everything stated so far is spot on. I went from 217lbs down to about 205, then leveled off between 207-209lbs at 2500 cals. Just did 40min incline walking every day as cardio. Logbook is super important. if your setting PB’s and weight is staying the same, your on the right track! just keep plugging

Thanks Hilly! I guess what I’m asking is will the 3 products from Supplement Needs pretty much cover what I’m taking. Astragalus I was interested in adding to my stack so I considered just moving to those three products so I dont have a million bottles lying around.

Thanks folks. I’ll probably find a way to work both versions in. I like it as a heavy loading as well as the stretch i get from a JM style.

I like it bud and run something very similar as 3 on 1 off/repeat. What I have different is swap out squats for either hack squat or some sort of squat where your back is supported. Only reason is because your Pull-A has deads. Might be a bit much on lower back/erectors to recover especially if ran back to back. I usually rotate around smith squats/hack squats/leg press and lunges in smith (john meadows style). Now if its P/P/off/L/off/repeat your probably ok. That’s just my change since I like 3 on 1 off since im not advanced strength and moving tons of weight.

If you follow John and look at his more recent routines, he trains similar to concepts echoed around here. His sets may say 4 sets total but he likes to ramp up with warm ups to about 2x all out sets, usually as a rest pause or a drop set or some sort of intensity technique. One of the few youtube channels i really enjoy.

I used the diclofenac based cream prescribed by my ortho, here in the US its called Voltaren gel. applied it to my lifters elbow twice daily and stayed away from any curls with supinated grip (lots of hammers). cured it in about 6 weeks

Not to hi-jack the thread, but is a belt necessary for heavy lifts even if you brace abs hard? Sometimes I get a lower ab cramp from the belt, although might be on too tight.

Greg log sir. Really enjoyed going back through and studying how you train as well. I am a huge fan of the PPL split with a heavy/back off set. I’ve been training this way for only 6 weeks or so now and feel like I have made more progress than I have doing junk volume the last 10 years. Consider it a life lesson learned ;]
