you don’t need to do tonnes of arms say 4 sets a week for triceps and 4 for biceps (working sets) you just need to be accurate as hell and progress on them just as you would with other exercises

accuracy and bracing makes a huge difference to arm training.. never perform the set if you feel it compromised by lack of stability or range of motion either

Don’t do anymore, anymore volume I’m afraid may impact on the volume of work Australian Strenght coach will have you do

He’s coached my nutrition client so

    I’m familiar with his programming

That’s working sets buddy I have wrote out for you not exercises.
    Rep range 1 8-10 2 12-15

Arms need a touch more reps imo especially to get right connection

I would add top up arm work on top of your workouts
So what is your current split/sessions ? There on I can see where you can add some arm work so it doesn’t harm your programming

If it was me I would add some arm work to the lower days. So you are performing a Limbs and Upper style workout.
Would be easier to advise if you posted full routine.

Hiya I’ve just added the photo here. I appreciate your help!

My answer here is “ask him”. Not out of laziness, but because if he’s coaching you, you’re much better keeping him in the loop with any changes you make. Better still, having his input into where any additions go will mean the rest of the programme is as successful as possible.

Hiya, I appreciate that. I actually have and he said there’s no problem with arm training but insisted and directed me to ask the best body builders I know which IMO are here.
Ok mate, top job for running it by him first, and kudos to him for pointing you to an “expert”

Sure there will be plenty of guys on here with value to offer on this one bud
Thanks man, if you know anyone please direct em to me, and if you honestly have an op let me know!

    you mean 8-10 12-15 maybe?

    you mean 8-10 12-15 maybe?

Hard to say without knowing your goals, I’m not sure why you’re only doing 2 sets for most exercises. And rep ranges should be 3-6 for strength and then 8-15 for hypotrophy. (It’s a guideline based on time under tension). For me, I do a 5×5 for compound, and 5×8/10 or 3×12/15 for accessories. Legs respond well to strength training so for at least leg press I’d up the amount of sets. Is there any reason you’re not doing squats?

You may just be unfortunate n have naturally low test.

I have a client similar to this. It’s then a personal decision on when you on on TRT not if I’m my opinion.

I would give it 6 months of retesting n looking to be the perfect healthy person.

If this didn’t help then I would be going on TRT.

Hi Hilly that sounds sad ???? but as Dr. Dean has said doesn’t low SHGB mean higher free test? I’m going to be reassessing everything next week after taking loads of tests now. Will keep you guys posted, thank you for the responses!
In a normal person yes but if you have low test then how much of this as a % is free could be hugely different.

This is why I stated retesting over the next 6 months in my post

I would TRT nothing wrong with it it will just improve the quality of your life imo.

I’ve been using anabolics on and off since 17…. coming off wouldn’t be an option for me now I’m 24 so when I finish with competitive bodybuilding I will most definitely TRT when I’m in my late 40s onwards

First cycle is very simpel 250-400mg test e or test cyp with some arimidex if needed.(12weeks)
After this cycle you need to make your own choice : pct or cruise.

Ah I agree however what’s your ideal cycle anyway then?
Perfect offseason cycle for me is

    600mg test

    400mg daca

    200mg of mast e
    .25mg of arimidex eod

Grew 20kgs in 16weeks with not alot of water
Love it! Deca seems to be a huge mass builder when combined with Test E.

Hi man, I’m actually in a similar position to you, it’s more down to preference and money etc. A blast and cruise method can only work if you have planned and budgeted effectively as it’s a long term strategy. A cycle + PCT is/can be a one time strategy so only need to budget and plan for one occasion. Fertility, as long as you are absolutely matriculate with your method should not be affected. (I’m a natural athlete at 20 trying to figure out which is best so take what I say with a grain of salt)
