Ok so go with an even split to start with

    50g protien , 100g carbs , 30g fat at each meal

Have pre workout 2 hours before training

Just before starting training have 30g eaa and then during training sip 40g cyclic dextrin

Carbs from rice , potato , oats , cream of rice

Fats from salmon , beef , chicken thigh , olive oil , nuts , seeds , some dark choc

    Usual protien sources

    That’s it

Run it for 3 weeks , add 10g carbs to each meal

Super simple , you don’t need to ask but but but , literally just do it

Is maltodextrin fine as opposed to cluster dextrin?

What about whole pasta as a major carb source? I get tired of rice and buckwheat, so sometimes I switch them out for a few months. Is this going to be significant for someone who is not as advanced as you?

    350-500g protein (usually 350-400)

    5-750 carbs 9 (usually 500-600)

    80-150 fats (usually about 100-130)

    Thank you.[/quote]

I also take about 10g bcaas preworkout, will switch to eaa’s (or a mix of both). I sip on my intra (cranberry juice, maltodextrin and a granite recovery shake) as well as two scoops protein shake. Rest about 30 mins between muscle groups, e.g. back and biceps (and forearms) and sip more. I feel like my digestion is very strong as I used to even eat a steak and pasta during this period (although it would sometimes be longer, e.g. 45 mins or an hour, and add in some pasta, as I tried it once without pasta and I think I went hypo during my next muscle group). Now I know about digestion and blood flow, so I’m unsure to what extent this actually helps as opposed to just drinking easier digesting shakes.

Also, sorry for using your topic, Karol; I just thought the questions were somewhat related to the discussion at hand in general, even if they weren’t specific to you. I’m not sure what the etiquette is here.

Didn’t use it and thank God for Sep 4th’s 40% recovery score and very productive back and biceps session. Set some PRs.

what were your free t3 and free t4 numbers – As TSH can swing quite a bit at times.

When was the last time you took some straight rest days – 3-5 days out of the gym?

how long have you been growing for?

    Could you be poorly ?

where are your hormones at ?

Last time I had a 3 day rest was from the 24th of June to the 26th of June. Can’t say that I’ve had a five day recent recently. I think I’ve been strongly growing since at least February. I posted T3&T4 in the imgur link as I can’t post images https://imgur.com/qW5F2El. I think it might be an issue with the blood test taking as I think I took it many hours after waking up and I recently checked that this may cause the spike in TSH since I can’t really think of any reason it would be that high especially alongside the other data I have and I might have started trying to latch onto any reason for why my strength had dipped. I’d note that yesterday’s back and biceps session was well within my previous progress and not troublesome. I talked to my training partner and some other people and the consensus we took was that I might be overtraining so I’ve decided to skip this weeks chest session and see if next week it returns to baseline.
