Hi Kuba – what’s your plan with regards to reaching your peak dose throughout your offseason? Say for instance you’re using test/primo, how would you determine when you titrate and increase the dose? And how would you decide which compound you’re going to titrate?

Hope all is well buddy – got a question for you regarding a push session. Do you ever implement the Prime shoulder press and Atlantis shoulder press (both plate loaded) in the same session or do you feel these movements are a little too similar?

I can always swap the Atlantis to the neutral grip to change the movement.

Yes Kuba – hope all is well, prep looks like it’s going amazing! I was hoping to get your opinion to transitioning from a deficit to increasing calories for an off-season.

Would you encourage a rebound and slowly increase calories by 300-400 cals? And how would anabolics affect this? Would the introduction of anabolics mean you could taper calories up quicker and more aggressively?

With regards to implementing a high day for example 800g of carbs. I saw a study of 48 hour refeeds being a little more beneficial due to the how long it takes to replenish glycogen stores. So the study suggested instead of 800g carbs of a one high day, it was better to consumer 400g carbs over 2 days. Is this something that is person dependent and just needs experimenting to find which one suits your body? And which refeed method would you opt for during a prep? Thanks

Hey bud – how would you approach show day with regards to removing certain PEDs. Would you stop clen/t3/yohimbine a few days out? Or perhaps taper T3 down?

Yes Kuba – hope the beginning of prep is going well bud. Looking forward to seeing you in the Arnold’s. Just a question regarding UltraFlex – I’ve heard rumours about potentially opening a gym in West London. Is this something you guys are looking into?

Just continuing on from this topic of carbing up before show day – when would you typically do this? E.g 24 hours before show day? And how would you determine how much carbs you’d need?

Hi Calum – great to see you with TBJP. With regards to nutrition, what’s your view and recommendation on fibre intake. How important is it? How affective is fibre for insulin sensitivity and Is this something you supplement or adjust certain foods with your athletes? Thanks!

Hi Kuba – sorry to hear about the bunk primo, must be so frustrating. Do you think the current Primo draught is a cause for concern in the future with more UGL’s underdosing due to lack of raw ingredients? Do you mind me asking the brand you were using at the time? Thanks bud

Hi bud – I done the same and I ended up calling them via the number on their website. David gave me his personal email, which is davidfox402@gmail.com – unfortunately he replied once and hasn’t replied since. Sounded like a lovely chap over but the phone, but comms aren’t great.

Hi Kuba, could I ask for your advice and tips on opening a new and successful gym? What have you learnt with Ultraflex?

Do you have any tips with regards to marketing, equipment selection.

A main concern for myself is cash flow, how do you ensure steady income is constantly coming in. Also are the UF units rented, equipment leased?

    Thanks.

    Hey Dan,

Steady income will be there if your product is good enough, I opened my gym before I joined forces with ultraflex woth very limited budget.

It was fun but from a business standpoint point didn’t make huge amounts of profit, if you want to do this for profit unfortunately you will have to invest heavily to see the return.

Get the best selection of equipment from each brand don’t just buy all from one to make it cheap, cheap doesn’t = great returns. You have to be willing to invest in order to see the returns.

If cash flow is an issue I would simply wait until you are more comfortable to invest, premises are rented Equipment is purchased. Leading equipment is the worst thing any gym owner could do, it works out double the price of buying outright and brings your over heads way over a realistic amount.

Gym business is hard so if you do it be prepared for a slog. If cash flow is a concern I would hold off as there will be many things that will pop up that needs paying. [/quote]
Thanks so much for the advice Kuba, I’m still currently looking for a site big enough and within budget. I’m mostly looking at premises in the industrial estates but so far I’ve come across so many landlords refusing to accommodate a gym business. I’m only guessing they don’t want issues with parking, music, or to annoy existing clients…Have you got any idea why? Did you ever have this issue when opening multiple UF gyms?

I was dreading losing the bagel with peanut butter and jam ? but I knew it was coming.

Luckily I haven’t plateaued just yet, so can follow your advice and eventually drop the peanut butter, cyclic dextrin, banana….and then the bagel with peanut butter and jam!

? well that answered my question. Thanks for the info Jimmy.

Do you mind me asking if you also monitor your BG since you been with Patrick? Or is it one those things where you roughly know the correct times when your BG is at the ideal level after you’ve eaten your meal?
