Spotify went down during one of my gym sessions. That was a dark time. WhatsApp I can live without!

What are your current thoughts on what your offseason cycle will look like roughly?

Hope everything gets back on track for you asap Joe and you can start to really progress. Feels like this offseason has been a bit all over the place so far.

Hi Kuba. First of all, congratulations on bringing your best ever package at the Arnold’s. I had this question a few days, but wanted to wait until after the show. You mentioned in a different topic that you may use 100mg or so if Tren in your upcoming off-season cycle. What would be the benefit of this specifically over other compounds (primo, nandrolone)?

Hello! is there any sense in using a low dose of lantus with over 700g of carbohydrates a day when I have low blood sugar. Fasting in the morning 4.2- 4.4. 2 hours after meals below 5.0. Can insulin use have any benefits in this case?

    Hey bud

Yes potentially it can prevent you from going insulin resistant, using a small amount is more so to support your pancreas when eating high amounts of food

I am very much the same, I generally can handle a lot and still be sensitive but the goal is to stay as sensitive as possible so makes sense using a tool that will aid with this

Also more potential IGF conversion and taking stress of the pancreas is worth it[/quote]

Do you still like to utilise GDAs even when you are using exogenous insulin?

Hit chest and arms today and felt once again very strong. I’m getting better and stronger every session now. Getting my meals in so the hardest thing atm, we’re sat at 6.5k kcal but tbh it’s easier than last time i was eating this much so no complaints. Body weight is moving well too I’ll keep you posted. 267.2lbs this am and rising 🙂

What kind of rate of gain are you and Callum looking to see currently? Is that much food a pretty large surplus or are your maintenance needs just that high?

I’d be interested in seeing how you’re getting in those calories? Meal plan Vs Macros? ‘Offplan meals’?

Hi Calum. In the past I know that you have implemented low dose tren in your atheletes offseason cycles. Is this a protocol you still use and if so, can you explain the thought process behind it?

    Hi Kuba, hope you’re well.

I am about to finish a 20 week cycle during which I have escalated up to 300mg Test E, 480mg Mast E and 140mg NPP (total of 920mg per week). Bloods are in a good place (only lipids slightly skewed), but I don’t want to be on escalated doses for too long personally so am looking to resensitise and improve my health on a TRT dose for a couple of months. I have been massing for the last 7 months. Food is currently at 4.4k on a TD, 3.9k on a NTD along with 3.5k ‘free’ calories over the week. My training split is currently Pull, Push, Legs, Rest, Upper, Lower, Rest. I could certainly keep on pushing up for now, but I also don’t think a tidyup would be a bad thing

Do you think that if I bring my anabolics down to only a TRT dose of 125mg/wk Test E that there would be any real risk of muscle loss from going straight into an aggressive fat loss phase (lb/day average rate of loss) in this situation? I would be looking to run this phase for only 3 weeks before continuing to mass. PEDs would be Clen, Yohimbine, GH, L-carnitine and potentially some thyroid support. I would think that given the very acute time period and the fact that I will still have higher androgens in my system during this time while they taper off, that the risk of muscle loss would be very minimal. Just wanted to get your thoughts as obviously you are in a very similar situation yourself!

Hi Kuba, hope you’re well. I see from your log that you are entering an aggressive fat loss phase with low (relative to an athleteyour size) anabolics at 200mg Test and 100mg Primo.

Due to it’s anti-catabolic properties and the fact that you would only be running it for an acute period of time, wouldn’t this be the exact time when it would make sense to use a minimal amount of Tren?

I would be careful with Canada at the minute due to their potential for lockdowns shutting gyms.

Rhea is in Mexico, maybe thats a possibility.

I wouldn’t worry about religiously following the macros for each meal.

I personally would move some of those carbs/proteins from the Intra into other meals (definitely some of the carbs into the pre), because for me I prefer eating actual food and don’t really like my body trying to digest such a large intra.

Are you sure you need that much Adex at 200mg a week? Make sure you get bloods done to dial in your AI dose. Really you shouldn’t have to use an AI if you’re on TRT (200mg seems high for TRT).

I also don’t see the need for T3 here.

I would be looking to have varying rep ranges. Also, given how much compound work you’re doing and how hard it will potentially be to recover, I’d lean more towards straight sets than muscle rounds. But if you can recover/progress from it then it’s fine.

What is your split including rest days? This looks like its potentially a lot of lower back loading (pretty unavoidable for legs given setup) especially given the Barbell Row.

Do you usually run Upper/Lower? I think you could definitely do a PPL split with this amount of kit.

You’re pretty light on back exercises. I’d want at least one rowing (bent over row, dumbell row, meadows row type, landmine row) movement and one pulldown type movement each session (chins, dumbbell/barbell pullovers). And again, ideally these wouldn’t load your lower back since you’ll be doing that in lower sessions.

I personally would add in some tricep isolation exercise (eg skullcrushers or db overhead raises and you could superset this with curls). A side lateral exercise (db side lateral raises). A calf exercise (plate elevated BB calf raise).
