    Hey Aj,

    Which it’s your current diet?

    M1 – whey berries
    M2 – chicken veg
M3 – rice chicken veg dark choc
    Intra 25c 20p
    Post – oats whey Berries
M5 – yoghurt berries whey dark choc

Same both days rest and training the Intra just comes out on rest , amounts don’t matter all that much as they are relevant only to me and my goals! But my carbs are all around my training window as you can see.

    171 (new low) – Rest

Can see new details pretty much most days now either upon wake or post workout, glutes are making an appearance from the side but still softer from the back. It’s now a case of getting as light / flat as needed to bring detail in that area (hams glutes) which I believe can be done in 8 weeks, giving me 3 weeks to push up food and drop fatigue into show number 1 🙂

    Hey Aj

You recently took out direct treadmill cardio that you had in for awhile, are you planning on doing the rest of your prep without direct cardio and only changes to energy balance by food reduction and steps?

Have you noticed a benefit in training performance since taking out direct cardio?

Hey Nate, that’s correct, no direct CV for 4 weeks now.

Personally my body never responds that well to CV. I create enough fatigue from training that CV at a higher intensity than light steps seems to just tip me over that edge and create enough inflammation to skew scale weight loss and create a good chunk of fluid retention

Much better off with just high steps (12-15k) for me

    171.6 (new low) – Pull

Went into push yesterday feeling weirdly amazing after a few slightly draggier days of energy so was kinda unsure of what to expect performance wise! But it was a very productive session, all numbers held or slightly improved!

Today is pull with paused RDL , Sunday’s are a lot quieter for me with work so allows more chill time & can also watch the Grand Prix later ???

Busy but productive rest day yesterday, was well needed! Fresh and ready for push today, will keep battling away to hold performance here!

Hey bud , I see your using yohimbine now have you noticed any water retention or digestive issues from it?

Hey Jeannie, no yohimbine for me, I used for 2.5 weeks and the fluid retention was mad so I decided against it, something just didn’t feel right when i was using it

    172 (new low) – Rest

Brilliant session yesterday, felt far better energy wise than the rest day prior; think this was just down to filming and training 3 days on the bounce, did knacker me out a bit.

Rest today so work will be done by midday, pop to the gym for posing and looking at a client , then relax ready for push tomo!

    172.8 – Legs

Good rest day yesterday, probably the first day where it felt a little more challenging throughout the day with fatigue, which may be indicative of training fatigue but I do imagine there is a fair amount of diet related fatigue now.

Nothing to worry about. All part of the process. Crack on as there is plenty more fat to lose.

    Hi Aj,

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what is the reason you only use machines for all your chest movements and not dumbbells or barbells?

    Thank you.

    Hey Oliver,

For me far greater stability and consistency of stimulus. For sure some great chests have been built with dumbbells and barbells but I save those for the off season typically

    173 – Pull

Held all performance in push yesterday, so super happy with that despite the significant weight drop already this week. Starting to take shape more in pwo shots now too.

Pull today and we’ll be filming for the site! Look forward to bringing that for you all ??
