I actually really like them. Can pretty much front squat the same as my back squat (which isn’t much to be fair ????????) but yeah they’re they’re awkward as hell and with the shoulder surgery I’ve struggled getting back in to them.
Have to cross my hands over rather than the “normal” front squat grip.

There will most likely be calves or abs at the end.
    3 x week for abs and 2 x a week calves πŸ™‚

Tomorrow is front squats, uni-lateral leg press, slow and deep hacks (on smith though as my gym is lacking…) thrown in some leg curls, add a dash of stiff leg deads and garnish with some split squats I think!

Yes – it’s what I do now I’ve stopped dieting.
Might need to step it up if fat loss stalls or start gaining too much.

Hope everyone in the family is well now mate.

What’s the session on 21st? Sas did a video on the mindset to getting peeled – would quite like to hear your insight to this also and if it it’s much the same. What sort of tips and tricks, either mental or phyiscal, do you implement to maintain diet and disciple when you’re this close to a show and hunger must be high and body is starting to cry out for food and all the sugary delights of the world! lol

If it’s purely strength you’re looking at at the moment – why not look at one of the WSM guys? I know guys like Big Loz and Terry Hollands do strength training programs. Personally I’d go for Loz over Terry mind – I think his is more related to the kind of transformation process he’s been through recently.
I’m sure there’s loads of others, Delroy McQueen comes to mind for example.

We pop, crack and make all sorts of weird and wonderful noises – especially those that lift. Constantly putting our bones, joints, tendons and ligaments under abnormal and extreme pressures. Usually these noises are just a release of pressure etc.
If there is no pain you should be all good. Any pain with it any there could be underlying issues and worth investigating

And no, you won’t get arthritis πŸ˜‰

I had similar surgery in January, sling and immobilised for 1 month then started physio. Was told 12-18 months for FULL recovery. We’re now 7 months after taking the sling off and started to do physio and rehab. I am allowed to load it heavy again but have to be careful not to overstretch and unravel the surgery.

Go with whatever the surgeon and their team advise. To start with it would likely be a bad idea to be on any cycle while your body is trying to recover from surgery, will be going through a lot of stress and using a lot of resources to heal without adding complications in with aas.

Be patient, take your time, do the boring as hell rehab exercises and listen to what you’re being told by the physios and surgeon. Keep training legs! Calorie wise I just stayed around maintenance and kept it fairly clean still.
