    What whey are you using?

    I use an isolate and no problems, even the cheaper bulkpowers etc ones. When I was using WPC I had a similar feeling.

    One question i always ask people is, do you train as hard as JP?

    Now that is THE question. Makes me feel sick just watching his videos. I try and bring at least SOME of that intensity to my sessions but I know I’m nowhere fucking near it.

    Use both? I hit calves twice a week at the moment – one is a heavy session using slow negatives, the other is volume 100 reps as little break as possible. Rest pause I guess.
    My calves grew well from doing DC style training. I was doing that before I actually even knew it was DC style haha The negative and the stretch I found vital for growing my calves. Annoyingly I have tattoos all up them so you can’t bloody see them very well! haha From the front they look decent though… ish 😉
    How do you mean hard on your feet? I’ve not had this issue so can’t figure out what you mean

    Rotties that’s pretty much what I was getting at. Most people 5-6 breaths is going to be 10 seconds plus I imagine.

    Basically what we’re both saying is, yeah 10 seconds is too long lol get some air and get your ass down lol

    ah sorry mate. Once you hit failure should be just 1 or 2 breaths then 1 or 2 reps again. 10 seconds is too long.

    If you’re doing Rest Pause sets to increase intensity, nothing wrong with 10-20seconds. If it’s between EVERY rep, that’s just silly lol
    Do a set, rest 10-20, do as many more reps as possible. Repeat.

    Never seem to see Tesco and Sainburys with their own stock of it.
    Aldi always have loads – plus they have 1kg packs of 5% mince for around a fiver and everything else I need (usually). Cheaper bagels too 🙂 Annnndddd it’s only 3 minutes from my house. Result.

    The only issue I have with them is “fresh” veg and sometimes fruit (if I’m allowed it) as it’s normally poorly stored before going on the shelf it seems and tends to go moldy quickly… as I just discovered with my last meal as I munched away. Still ate it though lol

    It is a brutal bit of kit, I’ve only ever used one and that was when I visited Kings. I was amazed how much it absolutely fucking killed me. haha Definitely not one to be slapping loads of weight on! Take it slow and easy and maybe adjust foot position if you’re feeling pressure in the knees.

    Aldi do their own Greek Yogurt. Macros are basically the same as Fage for a fraction of the price. Worth a look 🙂

    Suggest you go to your Doctor bud.
    Definitely looks like you aren’t getting much in the way of micronutrients though.
    I’ve found ACV has helped my digestion along with lemon juice and greens powder each morning.

    I also take Ravenous by AD pre-meals which is a digestive aid.

    Do you also use any pre and pro biotics at all? Might help but don’t know the implications with IBS?

    You tried Hydracharge Craig? Quality sup from Kaged Muscle. I put it in a 2litre bottle of water each day, tastes fantastic and makes it so much easier to drink plus with added benefits! 🙂

    Oh wow, difficult questions!
    1) Fav BB – currently? I think Chris Bumstead, I mean just look at the guy, I’m straight as they come but I’d turn in a heartbeat haha I’ve automatically ruled out all the guys on this forum because we know they win by default 😉
    2) Not massively clued up on female BB but Iris Kyle is obviously a legend and when I met her at Bodypower this year she was cool as fuck and really friendly. Also quite like that Kiki (can’t remember her surname!) from Australia who trains out of Dohertys.
    3) Any of the trainedbyJP crew! Ronnie (same reasons as Mitch), Big Ron (Rep300) Arnie – who wouldn’t!? Kai Greene so I can slap him and tell him to stop pissing about with his deep nonsense and trying to confuse me. Tom Platz for legs. Sorry all bloody obvious answers but meh, you like what you like!

    Honestly, it’s the way forward now days, so many opportunities (and sources of income!) from social media now, it’s a bit sickening really but if you’ve got something to offer it’s worth doing.
