Best of luck with the weight loss mate. Some sound advice above that doesn’t need adding to 🙂 Stick with it and you’ll see results.
Would love to hear updates from you or even see progress pics if you feel up to it. -
Just fit it in when you can. You have a kid and priorities change I imagine! If you can get an hour or so in after work go for it. After night shifts is fucking tough though, used to do shift work myself and it’s horrible on the body!
Hopefully someone else can offer a better insight with regards to the family but however you figure it out, best of luck mate and hope you can keep training. -

MemberApril 3, 2018 at 1:51 pm in reply to: Leg Exercise Selection – Finding a "Natural" Loading ExerciseHave you tried adjusting your foot position on the 45 deg leg press? Sounds like you’ve got quite a wide stance high foot placement if it’s hitting your hams and glutes more.
Bring them in narrower and lower down, will definitely hit the quads!
If you’ve got some issues with knees, get some wraps or sleeves. I don’t press heavy without them.Have a look at the last few pages of Sasan’s log, he’s logged some leg sessions there and he avoids squatting. He’s also got a video up I believe??
My leg sessions at the moment as I can’t really squat atm consist of leg press, usually 45deg one, Hack, extensions and curl variations. Not necessarily in that order. Depends what area I want to hit on the day etc at the moment. Sometimes if I’m feeling like punishing myself I’ll finish with something like split squats or walking lunges.
Sounds like you’d benefit from some mobility and stretching work for your hip flexors too. Make sure to foam roll also!

Haha do it! I stick a square in my oats and it’s incredible 🙂

My bad, interpreted it wrong then.
Let’s keep this back on track though as Sas’s log. Apologies for taking it off course! -
Stephen, what sort of work are you doing for that?

Currently £39.59 on BulkPowders plus an extra 25% off with code SPRING. Brings it down to £31.67

I was just looking for some PeptoPro in the UK, holy shit that stuff is expensive. I’ll do without!

Hate to sound like a douche but come on guys, you’re trying to advise one of the top UK (and international!) IFBB Pros on his drug use… as if he doesn’t have experience with this or some of the best minds in the business coaching him through prep.
Sas, really was crazy! Couldn’t believe how hard it was actually, even using kids weights! haha 100% using that more often.
Yeah, I met him on Friday at Kings, his physique is insane! Watched him walk away and even through his jacket, from behind he just looked crazy, MASSIVE shoulders and traps, like a gorilla haha incredibly impressive. Was good to meet him and get his insight in to a few things 🙂 Very nice guy. -
Lidl and Aldi do some decent “luxury” dark chocolates that I’m a fan of. Think it’s Lidl do one with raspberry pieces in. That stuff is incredible.
Mum recently went to Germany and ended up at the Lindt Factory outlet store and came back with 6 bars of various dark chocolates for me! Lol Will last me all year XD
That Green & Blacks stuff is also very good but costly. -
Bladerunner 2049 was a pile of steaming gash….

Watched your story with Cedric, tried the way he does lateral raises with what looks like limited ROM last night. It was like a mind blown moment! What was really nice is that I could do them and really feel the effect without aggravating the surgery ????
Hope prep is still going strong mate! Missing the anabolic muffins yet? -
If it fits your caloric needs you could eat a mars bar if you wanted…
What’s the question here? Chocolate, dark or not, isn’t ideal for you. Some anti-oxidants in dark chocolate but there’s still sugar and high calories. I eat a square or two now and then, usually with my oats, as it satisfies cravings etc with little impact 🙂
If you’re eating a bar a day, you’ve fucked it most likely lol -
Guys. ANY stimulus is enough to make you grow to start with. But follow JPs advice, getting strong is key. Look at his size and strength and that of his clients and friends. It works. The only reason to steer away from his principles really are like is Sasan’s case where he’s already built the muscle and is now looking for longevity and working around injuries.
Just keep it simple and go lift! ????????
