Looking forward to a full introduction of TBJP COR into my diet this week.

Got a bunch of sample packets to get some different flavours on the go and pick what I like.

Carbs are upped due to wanting a final push in bodyweight/glycogen stores towards competition so bringing in the heavy stuff 😎

As Kamara said above I think so long as your nutrition is nailed you’ll be fine in terms of holding muscle mass with slightly sub optimal training, especially if it’s only a short period of time.

Just do your best and control the controllables!

If you get acne via testosterone I maybe wouldn’t look towards tren as an option as it’ll be a very potential side effect.

As with any drug change or introduction though, it’s worth a try and then base whether you stay on it on how you feel and what it does.

    Manchester for sure.
    TBJP gym in Cheltenham obviously!
Ultraflex Rotherham is a big hub great place
    Muscleworks in Orpington is cool
Dedicated Super Gym in Liverpool is pretty crazy

All of those places may not have ultimate tourist attractions (could head into York after Rotherham?) surrounding but definitely best/coolest BB gym options

Day trip to London doesn’t go amiss to see stuff

Extremely busy last couple of days!

Thursday was a good training day also had a bunch of work on.

Friday I did events training with Adam Bishop down at his place. Some farmers walk, stone walk, atlas stones and truck pull. Big session that one. Then had a bunch of setup and work at the gym.

Then this weekend I’m running a strongman coaching course at our gym. Great to have something accredited that people can have as CPD.

Next week is looking busy and heavy. I’m excited but need to make sure recovery is a priority!

    Busy day!

Coaching all morning, weekly physio session (luckily he now works out of my gym Athlete Movement so very convenient) and then an echocardiogram over in Kent.

Wanted a thorough check up on my heart following my medical last week as I’ve never had it done properly and all looks extremely positive. I honestly can thank Love Heart, Heart Care and Vital Support. What incredible supplements they are ❤️

Two big training days incoming! Carbs have been put up the past week to account for extra energy expenditure.

Bodyweight holding around 138.5kg slowly looking to up it.

    Solid Tuesday!

    Axle Deadlift 325kg x6, 263kg 2×6
Kroc rows, Hamstring curls, Back extension ISOs, GHR sit-ups to follow

Very good session everything progressing nicely.

Picked up stuff from the printer for a coaching course I’m running this weekend, all looks great.

Bunch of online work, food prep, household chores and a consultation call to fill the rest of the day.

Starting to get that zapped feeling creeping in earlier and earlier which shows I’m near a comp. Need more sleep!

    Solid Monday training and life.

    Log press – EMOM 130kg x2 8 rounds
Incline DB press – 57.5kg x8 paused, 42.5kg 2×8 paused. All easy lol
Triceps, shoulder stability and cardio then ticked off.

I feel really strong at the moment just a bit battered as fatigue is racking up.

Food and sleep will see me through!

    Deadlifts tomorrow…

If it wouldn’t make too much difference I’d personally go with the split I preferred and/or targets your weaker parts as best you can. It’s so similar anyway.

Both will provide progress so long as you’re training with intent and good execution.

Big work slog today. Crazy how many people I work with nowadays, never lost on me!

Stocked up with food for 4/5 days yesterday, diet has been so on point. In fact even after a higher carb day I’ve ended up at a recent low of 137.8kg bodyweight lol. More to come.

Big week of training; this last 4 weeks will be tough. All supps on deck as usual the lifesavers being Cure Coming, Osteo Pro, Magnesium, Vit D3/K2, Dream Sleep and I’ll be grabbing some Unwind too.

Wholeheartedly feel a difference when full supp stack is combined with the brutal training in the last pushes of competition prep. Joints especially can get a battering so it’s a crucial aspect for me.

Yes absolutely and agree with the above, no need to even be considering the anabolic load with training principles that everyone should be applying. Not the main factor at all.

Just depends where you want to apply it. More common to see 8-15 rep range as the intensity has to be lower to accommodate those rep ranges.

Pushing 3-5 rep sets requires more load to reach failure so just depends which exercises you’re willing to do that on.

It’s also not rigid and set in stone, you can do a training block for example on the same exercise of 15/15/12/12/10/10/8/8/6/6/4/4 rep range and then refresh or switch exercise. So long as form is standardised, failure is reached and you’re recovering appropriately!

Events session was superb yesterday after my health check in the morning with Dr Matt Milner. I’m now passed for medical should I qualify for WSM in a few weeks!

    Squat 200/220/250kg x5
    Good run on walking stones
Farmers walk 140kg per hand 15/15m
    SL leg press 2×10
    Sled push 2x20m heavy
    Atlas stone run through

Then saw Bleed From Within in the evening.

Saturday is an early start and morning at the gym working so ready to go and then chill out this evening for an early night lol!

Used Dial In and Pumpage together today for the first time and had an insane session with PBs on everything! Some combo 👌🏻

    Machine shoulder press 4×10-12
    DB Arnold press 3×10
    Pullups 9/8/7
    SA rows 3×12 per side
    Handstand holds
    Cardio

Events tomorrow excited as always. 4 weeks until Europe’s Strongest Man!

Deadlifts yesterday went great, think my hormones have rebalanced well and CNS clearly playing ball. I was having leg tremors on most deadlift sessions ruining my bar speed.

    Axle deadlift – 315kgx6, 253kg 2×6
Rows, hamstrings, back isometric holds, core after

Then went to a gig in Camden. I loveee live music. Big hobby of mine.

Today was a deep clean at the gym, physio in afternoon and then some household boring stuff and work 👌🏻

Loving my routine at the moment and feeling solid!
