    Leg session tonight

I think I’m in a better spot post ostinil jabs

It’s a bit of an unknown at the moment as I very intentionally went a good bit lighter and higher rep to ease in

Rest day tomorrow, then 4 days on the bounce to account for the closure days over Christmas

About to get my last meal and then I’ll sleep

    Hi mate

Do you train them at the moment or are they the token bodypart that gets a bit of attention at the end of a session on the days you feel like it? (This is SO often the case)

    Push day today.

Got it done, mostly positive, bit of tightness across the bicep that I’m probably still being a bit over cautious with so I worked across a higher rep range today

    Everything went pretty well

Legs tomorrow that I’m disproportionately excited about to hope the ostinil plus has had an immediate impact 🙌🏻

Last meal in the oven now

    Amazing information Rich, thank you.

My conditioning isn’t really too great but I am aiming to get it to a good standard, I think I’m at about 18% body fat so I want to bring that down to maybe 15% to be a bit more realistic for my current level. I do want to mainly focus on muscle growth so I’m happy to compromise days although I don’t want to after that response I will aim to do the full body plan as suggested by Jordan on his videos, I’ve basically watched all that are in the beginner stage as I want to take it seriously. I do like the high intensity approach !

I’ll stick with it for the year and discipline myself to have the rest days. I was spinning my wheels for a long time. I’ll be back in about a year then to update my progress in this thread ! Then move to the upper lower.

Thank you so much for your help you guys are awesome !

Great attitude mate, sounds like you’re well lined up and ready to roll.

Get after it mate, and enjoy the process!

Good pull session tonight, but excitement of the day was getting my ostinil plus injections into my knees.

Not the most pleasant sensation, but an immediate improvement which I’m hoping is going to see me good for 6 months or so. I’ll be sensible, but I’m excited.

Push work tomorrow, one meal now tonight, and then sleep

    Hi mate

It depends what you want from your training.

If enjoyment is the main driver, then go ahead and get stuck in.

If you want to get some good return (assuming muscle growth as the main goal), training full body two days on the bounce isn’t the one.

I’ve no doubt you’re very well functionally conditioned, but the process here is creating a stimulus for hypertrophy, and then wrapping yourself up in the conditions that best support that, and one of those is allowing the muscles a period of rest.

If you like more frequent training sessions than every other day, upper/lower/rest will give you two days on, one day off. Or you could go push, pull, legs, rest, for three days on one day off.

There’s some really good videos in the education section, and on Jordan’s YouTube that will help explain the philosophies around building your sessions.

Once you’ve settled on a split and had a go at putting your sessions together, feel really welcome to bring them back here for review.

Mondays are rest days. Very busy day but it flew by so all good

One meal left now tonight and then an early night. Knee injections tomorrow afternoon, let’s hope they do the job!

If they feel good to you mate, get stuck in.

As long as you connect well and you can consistently progress, you’re in a good spot.

    That’s another weekend flown by

Ok leg session today. Knees were as good as they’ve been for a while but didn’t even attempt anything that might have antagonised them

That’ll be a bit of a break from legs now. Ostinil plus injections on Tuesday and will give that time to do its thing before easing back in,

Hanging a lot on them working, so here’s hoping.

About to get my last meal and then get to sleep

I agree with Andy here mate.

More common is people alternating a push and a pull movement

Not necessarily suggesting you do that, but more common.

Good push session early this morning. Continuing to grow in confidence with my bicep, which continues to see progress.

Busy day, literally only just sat down, and about to sort last meal in a few minutes

Leg day tomorrow so sleep needed

Fully agree with Haider here mate. Spend some time looking into the different coaches pages and content, the athletes they work with etc…

The trust element is huge, and then see how you find each other (it goes both ways) on an intro call

Pretty good pull session tonight. The gym was nice and quiet so rattled through my session

A rare early session tomorrow- push on the cards.

Legs on Sunday which will be my last one ahead of my ostinil plus injections.

Just about to sort food for tomorrow any last meal for tonight, then it’s sleep

    Hi mate,

If you’re using high dose creatine for both improved physical performance, and brain function, it’s likely you will need to split your creatine dosage across the day.

Personally, I would have these servings with a carbohydrate meal, and having one of those either pre or post workout would be ideal.
