Rest day today, all good and Supp prep sorted, one meal left tonight and then it’s back session tomorrow
Quad is feeling much much better but I’ll be sensible with it this week none the less
I’ll get some feedback from rows and hinges tomorrow so will go from there

It’s a sub-optimal approach. If you want to excel in powerlifting, choose something specific that works towards that goal.

Today did NOT go to plan. Ended up having to train two hours later than expected.
Made a judgement call and did my arm session instead of my pull
Session. Not optimal, but I think the right call for todayResting up tomorrow, then I’ll get after the pull session on Thursday
Just sorted meal prep and about to dive into my last meal

Great job here mate. Just keep that tempo and form consistent now as you creep the weight up

Yep, right with the gang, find your set up, record your set up, then get to work!

Hi mate
I don’t think I understand what the issue is that’s preventing you from doing your tricep press in sequence.
When you say your push musculature is “firing”, what do you mean?
If you’re in a position where two sets of a chest press and two sets of a shoulder press are rendering you unable to do any more work, I think you have a conditioning issue.
I’m sure you’ve progressed incredibly well, which is great, but there are MUCH stronger guys that can get way more out of their sets than you can, that don’t have this issue.

Rest day today which has been right on point. Pretty much every time I’ve sat down for any extended period, I’ve fallen asleep.
Looking forward to going into tomorrow refreshed and recharged.
Quad is sore, as I expected it to be. I’m not going to try to predict any timeframes with it, I’ll keep it in use, and I’ll test it and push it bit by bit as I go.
Just had a mass downpour here which has really nicely freshened things up. Food prep is all done, one meal left to eat tonight and then sleep
Push tomorrow. It’s always a treat in the gym when push falls on a Monday and everyone is training chest 🙄😂

It’s that, or find a new gym with more access over weekends mate.

I trained legs today, which was going very nicely until belt squat when I pulled something in my right quad. Fortunately I’m a little more sensible than I was a few years ago so stopped. I think another rep would have done some damage.
I’ll rest and assess, hopefully be back doing some light work on it sooner rather than later
Resting tomorrow anyway, so will see how it feels in the morning.
I finished up the ham and calf components of the session, so just the remaining quad work missed

Hi mate
I fully appreciate its nice to have freedom of the lifting platforms, but I don’t think I’d let a factor like that limit my training set up
Either be comfortable occupying the space, or look to a different gym mate
Yeah you are right
What would you recommend me do split wise ?
?
You suggested yourself that the thing stopping you transitioning to a PPL split was that you wanted fixed training days. If that is removed as a barrier, PPL is your logical option mate. -

Hi mate
If you’re running the pattern of loaded sets on pull and higher rep sets on push, then reversed, I think you are absolutely fine to alternate the start long movements
-

Chest supported upper back Pulldown
Low pulley stirrup row
Neutral Pulldown
Shrug
Smith rowJust sorted food prep and supps for tomorrow, now on with my last meal before sleep time

Hi mate, I’ll add, the angle doesn’t let us see what’s going on with your back.
Something side or or diagonally from behind would be helpful.
