Everything seems to becoming together fairly nicely. New bodyweight low this morning at 85.6kg and i suspect this to drop some more in coming weeks.

Things are progressing rlly nicely under Kuba. Intricacies of training is improving session on session and bit a new bodyweight low yesterday morning at 86.4kg. Still got a fair few weeks to go on the cut too.

As previously mentioned the most challenging thing is working stuff around the unpredictability of being a response police officer in Camden but we have been figuring that out rather well and stuff is moving well.

Upper/low/rest still remains the split with the exception of an added rest day post my last night shift of my added set to allow me to reset my sleep schedule as I only sleep 3 ish hours or so after this shift and then treat the rest of my day as normal as I can.

For context I usually 6 shifts on and 4 days off with this being 2 early shifts, 2 late shifts followed by 2 night shifts. This week it’s 7 shifts on with 3 days off with there being 3 night shifts rather than 2. So I am unable to keep a set routine day in day out but I do my best to keep a set routine around the shifts that I do and try to approach those shifts in the same way each set.

Tad MIA last couple of weeks. Been pulled from pillar to post with work. Still on u/l/r and I’ve started to managed adapting to what Kuba has me doing in terms of meals around my woke shifts.

Anyone who does shift work, particularly in emergency services will understand the tendency for things to go very very fucking wrong a lot of the time. So spent a lot of time figuring out getting meals in around the unpredictable nature of my work. I very much intend to prove this point that things can still be done around this.

Very much more of the same of the last few days. Currently in between night shifts last night and tonight before some days off. Decent upper session yesterday and I’ll be hitting Lower before work this evening.

Weighed in at 88.55kg this afternoon upon wake.

Good couple of sessions the last couple of days. Rest day today.

Weighed in at 89.5kg this morning so the weight is still dropping nicely.

Good few sessions the last few days. Weighed in at 89.7kg this morning which is a new low so the weight is coming off nicely. My strength retention is still very good, on some lifts a bit better than others but I’ve been able to match rep ranges or be within a rep or so on most things.

Rest day today so just steps.

Yesterday’s upper and tofus lower were both decent sessions. Starting to hit a stage where it’s noticeable where my recovery isn’t as good if I don’t try to maximise what I can. Noticed this particularly with a couple of shitter nights sleep but we crack on. I don’t feel I’m at a stage yet where I need to tinker too much with volume this far.

Weights coming down nicely. I suspect to drop below 90kg in coming days

Had a rlly good upper session of the back of the night shift despite going 24hrs awake then training on 4hrs sleep but the session was solid.

Lower today and on the whole a good session. My deadlifts have taken a bit of a hit since being ill but that’s something I’m working on fixing. I am also around a 6kg down in weight so at some point the leverage I have on that lift will be impacted by the weight loss. In the meantime I will chase the numbers I can on everything and especially on lifts like deads I want to hold as much strength as I can so when I start gaining again I have a quality starting point.

Decent lower day my quads are recovering fine since adding in an additional set on leg extensions. As I do it prior to the hack it seems to warm up my knees just that bit more but has caused me to rejig the hack a bit as it exhausts them that bit more.

Rest day tomorrow followed by a night shift so thats fun.

The bicep is a lot better and I haven’t had any issues of late with it so it seems to be doing fine

Solid leg session. Added in an additional set of leg extensions prior to the hack and the difference was very noticeable during the Hack but one that a liked.

BW hit a new low this morning at 93.2kg

Decent upper session today, the cold had starters to shift and I felt a better in comparison to my last leg day. I have a slight tweek in my right bicep, similar to where it was a few weeks. I’m gonna hope by the next upper session it’ll be okay I’ll see how it is tomorrow when it comes to training biceps in my leg session but is there only so slightly.

I weighed in at 93.8kg this morning fasted. Also picked up a huge amount of steps today too.

Rough lower day, my colds also turned to a cough and I started gassing out massively when I started hitting 8+ reps and above but I stuck to the session and made the best of what I had. Steps also done.

Rest day from gym tomorrow and hopefully it’ll did this cold/cough some good
