Quality Lower session, took 220kg on deads for 4, the 5th defo could have been there but the lock out would have been rough but I feel it could have been done. First time have taken 220 x 4!

Good upper session today. My elbow is still a bit funny and it bit at me quite a bit as I racked off the barbell for bench. I’m going to take flat bench out and close grip bench as my elbow seems to be more comfortable with the likes of DBs and handles that are angled. Also seems that if I come just shy of a fully lock out, it also helps nurse the elbow as during the actual pressing it isn’t too bad at all.

Very good upper session yesterday and solid lower session today. Also done leg curls prior to back squat and it didn’t seem to mitigate the hack all too much.
Lifts are moving nicely. My joints of late seem to be getting agitated a bit more, my knees are feeling it a tad at times are my shoulders and elbows, especially my right shoulder joint and the right elbow. Nothing too major just an observation from feel of late but it hasn’t slows down progression it seems. However the right elbow feels like a touch of tennis elbow so I might invest in thin elbow sleeves just to cushion it that bit more and potentially adjust my pressing work if I need too.

Rest day today.
Solid Lower session yesterday, feeling strong on deadlifts and leg press.
Solid 210 x 6, 200 x 7 on deads. Intrigued to see where I can push them in what small amount of time I have left of this gaining phase.

Very very good upper B session. Pleased with the lifts. Switched up the shoulder movement to a high incline smith to see where I was at with that and it was easier to do at the time. Potentially thinking about moving it back into routine but we shall see.
Good session all in all. Lower B tomorrow which means Deadlifts!!!!

Quality Lower session at Muscleworks in Bethnal Green today, signed up permanently and will continue to train there.

Had a decent upper session today. Had to train at a different gym due to weird times at the end of the year so I had to rejig some exercises and the selection but the bulk of it was there. Carried way too much fatigue in my shoulders into today’s session, hit a PR on a couple of the sets but not as many as I would have wanted. Gonna look back over the last couple of days and see where the issue lies and sort it out.
Also planning to move gyms entirely. Turns out I only live a half hour ride is from Muscleworks in Bethnal Green and as it’s a Bodybuilding gym I’m gonna give it and crack and hope it lives up to its reputation!
Lower tomorrow after work!

Very good upper session yesterday. Some nice progressions particularly on seated OH press where I took 85kg x 5.
Just got back to London from Essex. Will be heading to train lower shortly and it’s deadlift day which is still the king of all exercises.
Then I’m straight out this evening to twicks to watch quins vs tigers!

Also chose to back squat todya for the first time in weeks as my gym in Essex I go to doesn’t have a hack squat until next month. Wasn’t too shabby, managed to get up to 160kg for a couple of good decent reps with no wraps or belt so I’ll take that given that it’s far from the best movement for me.

Rear day today and back in Essex for Xmas and back to London on the weekend for the rugby at Twicks.
Upper was good 2 days ago. I have tweeked my obliques on the left side of my abdomen area. I believe done it during the single arm DB row. I felt it going into yesterday’s lower session but it didn’t seem to disrupt all too much, so tomorrow I’ll just crack on with Upper A as per usual but I’ll just approach with some caution. To any of you that read this very much feels like bruised ribs.
Had a decent lower session yesterday and I had about 3hrs sleep following a night shift at work. But we don’t make excuses I went in and got stuff done.

Very good lower session today, took a nice PB on the Hack.
Rest day tomorrow followed by back to back night shifts tomorrow night and Saturday night. Haven’t had much issue in terms of my shift patterns and it impacting my training so hopefully that stays the same!

Rest day today.
Had a class lower session yesterday. Enjoying giving SLDL ago at the moment very much aware that they need some work so I’ll see what I can do with them in coming weeks.
Final push phase now for me in this gaining period. I’m nearing the point there around where I need a diet phase and a decent one at that too. This will come in the new year and I hope by then I will be able to get a coach (I have someone in mind) and I can crack on from there with them on what to do and where to go.
Back to upper A tomorrow morning before work. More of the same, lifts will be progressed!!!!
