pace of loss has been very steady which is good – no need to go super hard as there is no deadline as such

have lifts stalled on push for another reason? ie they need to rotate? or you are over doing volume? is this a ‘tired’ session, ie if I train 3 on that 3rd session always struggles most to improve

I don’t see why you would refeed – ADD CALORIES….if you are not dropping on your current set up….that means youre not in a deficit so would be increasing into a surplus help?

food is still in a decent place and cardio only a few days a week – you have lots of tools 🙂

you know when you do a mammoth food prep…and then one of the tubs falls to the floor…and it opens…there is that moment of ARGHHHHHHHHHHH, gotta re make that…then theres that moment of, nobody will judge me for just putting that back into the tub…

    don’t pretend that you haven’t done that….!

im not condoning it…but equally im not saying that MEALONTHEFLOORNOWBACKINTHETUBFOREATING didn’t just happen

    MAY – WELCOME 🙂

I like this month…the anticipation of sunshine, BUT the unknown reality haha

yesterday was long but wonderful – went down to Essex to see some friends

her son is now 6 weeks old…still so so tiny! but totally different from when I met him at 10 days old

we got on well..we had suddles WITHOUT tears…I felt very accomplished as an adult female lol as usually me and tiny babies aren’t great…they can sense the trepidation I think

also got some news that another friend is expecting…due in October….so it really is baby central for me!
another due 25th may as well …lovely to be a part of new lifes…really makes me happy 🙂

    hey everyone
Tuesday – last day of april – which is madness! 🙂

    @justin

with exercise section in general the factors we consider are:

effort v reward (in terms of longevity and recovery)
load v form (can you load the correct muscle without another area becoming a limiting factor?)

so I do like walking lunges BUT my legs are very strong….when I need more weight, it then becomes a breakdown of grip of the DBS or lower back, ie not actually loading legs as best and accurately as possible

I could go lighter, but then I would end up doing so many steps it would turn into an extreme WM which I don’t have in the plan at the moment

so for me right now, there is no need or space for those to be in my program.

    I agree
I think upper lower or full body at EOD

the main issue I see with the split you suggested would be the cross over

if quads are trained Monday for example then its inevitable that some hammy will be stimulated…so hammies on the Tuesday wouldn’t be optimal
same with training triceps…this will likely then reduce the strength on Tuesday when trying to perform any pull movements.

to me it doesn’t really matter that upper is weaker than lower as its all relative…so strength will increase on ALL sessions….output from legs is always more so than upper I find, as the weight moved is greater and the muscle groups are larger…that’s true for all lifters in my opinion.

    happy sunday 🙂

    leg day for me today
so my routine is now set – so it will always be leg day sunday!
    to confirm

    Monday – Pull
    Tuesday – rest
    Wednesday – delts&tri
    thursday legpull
    friday – rest
    Saturday – chest
    sunday – legs

I do like a fixed routine as I can arrange my social a little easier…ive set it this way to fit with m family tbh ….so mum works sat/sun, so no need for those to be free days….i tend to hang out with her in the week….Tuesday my sister has a day off work (does 4 days as she has my niece) so that’s a day we can all do something
Friday my mum looks after my niece…and I like to be a part of that so we will often do something as a 3 on this day

works well…and far too much boring info for you all haha

BUT having said that IF I do need an additional rest day at any stage – ie if the 3 on is getting tough as I get leaner, then I will simply alter as I need and go with the flow

    morningggggggg

    Saturday 27th april

so I have news…I am NOT doing Toronto and Omaha

    reasons….

there is a lot going on over the coming month – expos/ comps / travel
It makes me feel VERY uncomfy having to be disrupted so many times so close to a show – the odd thing is fine but lots of events? nope thanks
so I don’t want to present something im not happy with

me and Jordan discussed it and we have decided to now do
    Chicago – Friday 5th July
    Vancouver – sunday 14th July

so I am not 9 weeks and 6 days out

im gutted not to be Toronto as I really really wanted to….but equally im relieved as i was feeling a little stressed about it tbh and also now im super sure i will be able to retain all my new mass and bring another level of condition

and you did make it happen 🙂

how are you feeling in terms of your current condition and process etc? do you find it harder to not have an imminent comp goal or do you enjoy this phase just as much?
