I have had a seriously wonderful day!!

SO rest day..which I really really was looking forward to after the hubbub of the weekend….then boiler fitting on Monday…then the NO SHOW of the blind fitter on Tuesday…which was nice of them (turns out my order was cancelled…as the fabric was discontinued…but nobody thoughts to call me…anyway)

so basically defo needed a day of not having to think as much! said to muma Ingman,…lets do something but nothing…we went into Cheltenham with the pups and had a nice wander about the park, a coffee, a chat etc… lovely to be in the sunshine

then vets this afternoon as Ava has bad skin…she much be allergic to pollen or something but she gets super itchy then makes herself sore….now we have some meds so all should be ok

so with the sunshine, got me thinking about ice cream…here is the question

    1) favourite ice cream/lolly….ie one that you get from the shop in a wrapper
    2) favourite ice cream flavour….so 1 scoop in a tub or a cone
    3) if you designed your own sundae…what would you create?

its never silly to question or look for even more optimal methods.

if you can recover from the increase in volume and it leads to greater progress then that’s perfect! as you have done…just a case of trying and assessing 🙂

thank you for all the nice feedback 🙂

leg session yesertday was actually surprisingly good! I was kinda dreading it in terms of just feeling sleeeeeeeeepy….BUT as soon as I was in there, strength was very good

I did paused leg press on the upright HS which was actually a really nice variation so I will alternate between the 2 from now

pull today – will update 🙂

    gooooooooooooood evening

    so that’s body power done!

what a weekend – safe to say im pretty tired haha but I had a lovely time

thank you to those who came and said hi…it was so nice to put faces to names (or faces to scone preferences haha)….I think its funny how I write on here and often think ‘wow Corinne you are just rambling on…!’ BUT actually people are reading, relating, learning, enjoying…so its nice to know and im really very very grateful!

im not a huge self believer….as you all know…BUT I run off the belief that others have in me…so im full to the brim with that right now! just in time for comp prep I guess 🙂 so again another big thank you for keeping me inspired to achieve my potential 🙂

    hey
i had to google what this was….so a sugar and caffeine drink basically

what do you currently use intra?

this is a carb, but it doesn’t contain any proteins

and also the caffeine is substantial which might not be ideal for training

    hey ryan

to improve condition you need a deficit of energy – simple as that

the specifics of you macro intake in reality don’t matter as much as people think (new research shows this to be the case)

everyone is different, people need a different amount of kcals depending on their mass, activity, thyroid function etc etc

so if you need to drop more body fat, then create a deficit

    morninggggggggg

legs yesterday was wonderful and horrific

ended up hitting a total of 30 reps on the first set of my PIV banded, paused leg press….so got 30, stripped the bands, got 11 and a forced rep and attempted an iso hold which was approx. 4 seconds haha

PULL today – also very good, but im finding it hard to hit the 3rd consecutive session with full intensity…SO i will be adding an additional rest….knew the set plan wouldn’t last long haha but that’s ok..a good sign that im strong 🙂

i usually have meal 1 then pre gym them train, so not a big diff…i don’t notice a drop in performance or energy which is good

i agree though, i don’t think i could train fasted! i have trained very depleted in the past and that’s not productive so personally i don’t think i would benefit 🙂
