    @classickid

twister – 100% …we are twister twins there, I do exactly the same

salted caramel…what is the difference to caramel? but yes, its a good choice

only issue I potentially have with chocolate sauce at the BASE is the container…if its one of those skinny ones….its just a waste….if its more a bowl and I can get my face right in there, that’s fine!

fudge chunk….as in pieces of fudge? or is that lingo for something else?
what do 100s and 1000s bring? to me is a garnish for aesthetic impact

the pivotals can vary a little and be extended etc etc
yes they are like rest pauses in many ways…its more the placement and use of them also which is ‘pivotal’

so when I do a pivotal rep set I would do the following….

pick a weight to achieve all out failure on about 12 reps

perform the set, fail at 12

take 20 secs rest on isolation moves….30 secs on compound moves (MUCH LIKE A RP SET)

perform another set to absolute failure – typically you will get anything between 3-6 reps

IMMEDIATELY ….go into a forced rep, if you have a spotter (so you attempt the rep on your own and they simply take a tiny bit of load to help with lock out)

IF ALONE then do a partial rep…this is to be moved by good contraction through the motion you can achieve without chucking it or using momentum

IMMEDIATELY lower/move to the mid point of the range and hold this isometrically, fighting against the weight as long as you can

I WILL ALWAYS HAVE A SPOTTER OR USE THE SAFETY PINS – IF IT IS NOT SAFE TO DO AN ISO HOLD THEN I WILL NOT DO IT.

I think its best to run a plan…then see how you go…if you then can see that delts are not getting enough work, try adding something …then monitor recovery and progress again πŸ™‚

its just a template to start from and very much up for adapting to fit the individual – for me…yes, I would add side raises

I think this is a one of those classic ‘BODYBUILDING OLD SCHOOL’ things to do….

in my view….if youre not lean enough at 2 weeks out and youre only tool is to change chicken to fish…then you probably aren’t going to be lean on stage
its a tiny diff in kcals really

    other ‘traditional rules’ include
stopping dairy…to make the skin thin….?

totally ok for people to prep how they like, but if the little details were the magic answers then prep would be even easier haha πŸ™‚

    hello everyone

    sunday 19th may
6 weeks and 5 days out …odd to do a Friday comp…I don’t think I have every done that

anyway…. CHEST session today – felt pretty good…progressions on pretty much everything – I did

high incline press – 67.5 kg per side x 6 – THIS IS ON IG….I was training alone, but joe was in there doing legs….which was handy because I would not have got that 6th rep without a bit of ‘KEEP GOING’ kinda help …it was far from easy BUT I got it – SMUGGGG FACE ON….then PIV set
incline HS press – 1 set, 1 PIV
flat DB chest press – stretch RP set…this is getting very tough to progess…I upped the weight fron 22.5 to 25 today, so I knew I would be down on reps…as we all know with DBS the jumps a pretty big so its totally ok in my books to drop a few reps…those 5 sec stretch really occlude and makes it so so hard
    into a chest stretch immediately
cable upright row – 1 RP set in partials into iso
lying cable cuff – 1 RP set in partials into iso
rev pec dec – 1 RP set in partials into iso
    straight into a stretch
dual cable bicep curl – 1 RP set in partials into iso
DB preacher curl – 1 stretch set

haha no way,….in my defence…youre just down as Sol πŸ˜‰
but I will take that, and I am truly sorry! MON MON MON…I will practise πŸ™‚

sometimes ill stick with the weight, BUT in honesty, I find the increase of a few kilos less intimidating then the thought of an extra rep!

I look forward to your post show concoction – a lot of pressure on this now, seen as we have a 3 week build up! haha πŸ™‚

@marko – hey πŸ™‚ no I haven’t used tamoxifen in prep…and im not currently using clen as condition is improving without it….ill do as Jordan says, but we don’t plan to add tam and he will likely add clen in a few weeks….@trainedbyjp – I think that was your thought process πŸ™‚

@soloman – erm 220 not 200 haha don’t deprive me of kgs haha….yeh I find it easier to add 1.25kgs and match, then try for 1 more rep….what do you find easier?

I think I need to get on the maxibons….they seem a popular choice!
    coffee!!! YES
