Alpha Lipoic Acid is a mixture of the two enantiomers – R and S.
All things in nature all exist in right and left handed versions.
The R is the natural active form capable of interacting with enzymes in the body.
However, I’m not sure how racemic (contains equal quantities of both) the standard ALA would be so taking double of a standard product may not yield a double dose.
The price difference is the cost of separating the R from the S which isn’t too difficult but does add time and obviously expense.

Your MCH (Mean Corpsicular Height) is low which is often contra indicative of an iron deficiency.
I would be assessing serum folate and B12 along with iron at next test.
And stay away from folic acid, it does absolutely nothing for your MTHFR but block the receptors. Naturally 5-THF (tetrahyrdofolate) is what you need to supplement with if needed.

Its not the desensitization I’m worried about, its the chronic low level stimulation combined with blasting and cruising which no data exists for.
Don’t forget theCrisler method is for people on TRT for life who previously had HPTA function and spermatogenesis; not those blasting and cruising.

Remember the discs are mainly fluid filled and the pain is due to the fluid moving into one area of the disc and touching off nerves surrounding the spinal cord so I don’t know how effective the BPC or TB will be in reducing inflammation of the disc unfortunately.
They have both been shown to work systemically so there’s no need to inject into the spinal area if you do decide.
