You won’t be fasted if you have EAAs prior, so just have water or mix water with some electrolytes beforehand. You could alternatively use CV burn or have a shot of coffee.

Would it be a noticeable difference for fat loss or are we talking minor minor percent’s? From Using Eaas, to just water + a stim etc ?[/quote]

Overall calories matter more for fat loss, however many people believe that true fasted cardio seems to be more effective. This could be down to feeling lighter, tighter, more focussed or believing psychologically that more fat is being burned, so they are more motivated in the session, rather than an actual increase in fat loss.

There will be a slightly higher fat oxidation during true fasted cardio, but your overall calorie balance across the day is what actually determines fat loss, not necessarily just the fat oxidation in the moment.

If your cardio is over an hour in duration or of high intensity, there could be an argument that drinking EAAs prior could help to preserve muscle, but otherwise I don’t think you need to worry.

Have you seen any changes in your clients bloods with the extra addition of SLU?

Cheers hilly , will get one ordered getting up to around the 6 week mark now.

If all comes back well, would you consider trying a injection rather than gel for a period to see if it helps improve things a blood test won’t show like mood , Libido , wellbeing etc?

1 month wait for a private cardiac ablation , or around a year for NHS.

Waiting to hear from my cardiologist to basically see if my heart is taking damage whilst I’m in AFIB , that will influence my decision on what to do next.

In the meantime , training as hard as I can , perfect diet , good sleep. Keeping all the variables i can control good. 👍

Do you have any pain with the bad leg still mate?

Also the 20mg Slu tabs, is it a noticeable difference from the standard 250mcg/300mcg ones?

    Hi Greg

How Clare has set out the above is similar to what I would say.

I personally like to have more carbs pre and post workout -keeping pre / post carbs pretty consistent, then the other meals throughout the days carbs wise evenly split.

Protein distributed across meals evenly and fats first and last meals higher to slow down how fast protein absorbs.

    Top man Marc 🙌👍

    Or with an intra drink:

    Meal 1: Carbs: 110g, Protein: 60g, Fat: 20g
    Meal 2: Carbs: 90g, Protein: 60g, Fat: 15g
    Meal 3 (Pre‑Workout): Carbs: 130g, Protein: 60g, Fat: 10g
Intra Drink: Carbs: 40g, Pro: 20g
    Meal 4 (Post‑Workout): Carbs: 110g, Protein: 60g, Fat: 0g
    Meal 5: (Pre‑Bed) Carbs: 120g, Protein: 60g, Fat: 40g

Brilliant Clare, many thanks 🙂 running pretty similar to that, just wanted another opinion 🙂

Quick one team while on the subject, can SLU and L-carn be drawn in the same barrel?
