    HI MAtt

Do u log yr workouts? do u keep track of the last set of the exercise or all 3sets?

Hey mate. I don’t log my workouts anymore. All my sessions are different. But i keep a mental record of certain lifts and every few weeks i will do that exercise at the start of the session to measure progress. Progressive overload is still king and always looking to be stronger should be the way. But i believe it’s progressive overload over time rather than chasing it every session on every exercise that builds the real muscle. A lot of log books climbing week after week come from more efficient signalling and neural pathways etc. Plus a slight compromise in form. As long as the long term trend on certain exercises is showing strength climbing that’s good enough for me. I just make sure i train my ass off every session and don’t leave anything in the tank. Then i hope that strength gain comes about from growing more muscle as opposed to muscle coming from getting stronger. I feel these tweaks the last few months have really helped my training and progress

    Hi Henry,

I will use something like test cypionate which is a lower action compound who will taker longer to get on the blood stream.

This question has been buggin me recently, thanks for the input john!
1 question, does the type of test make any difference in the cruise phase?
