    @hilly would upping test/mas by another 2/1 be a good compensation. I felt fine on them two compounds along a 600/300mg with 50mg var n proviron

    Nothing compares to tren unfortunately.

    However I think what your taking is fine and coming into a show you don’t want to increase test.  

    You could increase mast to 600mg

    Thanks for the reply hilly, yes I have competed and made it to the national finals on each occasion, so hopefully I have some appreciation of the standards required , but seeing a women in tears due to exhaustion didn’t really sit comfortably with me.
    I was never the biggest on stage but condition always got me noticed and you are right , half my prep was spent walking round like the living dead , but the difference is I was still able to turn it on when I got to the gym.
    This lady just looked mentally and physically broken , if the coach had a reputable back ground with female athletes then It wouldn’t be my place to get involved but he is a glorified PT and I think he’s giving poor advice and not giving this women the support she really needs

    Then I think I defo agree with you buddy here.

    Im like a zombie currently at 2 weeks out, I go dizzy most times I stand up etc, but when I drop my pre workout drink Prepare and get to the gym im alive for the session. Only just but im alive to hit it hard.

    If she isn’t then she needs to re asses and if the coach doesn’t agree he needs ditching IMO.

    I am yet to find one PT who makes a decent coach, they have no nutritional education and as far as im aware are not qualified to be doing this sort of thing anyway in reality. Granted some are top end competitors etc and this is different but most are jumping on a dangerous bandwagon

    Its possible to prep natural so tren is defo not needed.

    Add in var 50mg daily

    A lady at my gym is currently prepping for a bikini masters show, she is currently 5 weeks out,
    Her prep coach has her on 100g carbs daily, but she is weight training 5 days a week, cardio of 1 hr daily , an additional 12,000 steps every day and as a PT she is teaching 7 classes (spin etc) a week and on her feet all day.
    Today she looked completely washed out and dead on her feat and is on the verge of quitting, I recommended a re feed day or just generally upping her carbs, she asked her coach and was told categorically she does not need either.
    Surely conditioning and minimal body fat is not the main focus for a bikini athlete.
    Have I got this completely wrong or is the coach just running her into the ground ??

    So running her into the ground is never the aim of the game. However reaching competitive levels of BF for most requires you to feel and look pretty dam run down at times and if she has a high output job this is going to make things worse.

    Have you ever competeted yourself? is this from your own experience you feel she looks worse than she should? As if not its probably normal and your just not away.

    However we cant comment at all in reality as each situation is different. I have been behind so im currently running on empty and feel/look like im ill lol, my GF is constantly telling me I need to eat and not do cardio but im well aware this is what needs to be done if im to be in the condition I need to be

    So a couple of points most covered above.

    The big meal late at night may be causing you to be full on waking. what types of food are you eating here?

    try doing a little cardio in the morning. 15-20 minute power walk will defo stimulate apetite. I recommend this to most.

    Why do you feel you need to eat on waking? If your not hungry for an hour or 2 then don’t eat till then. On my rest days I wake at 6am and don’t eat till 10am. The important part here is meeting the daily macros.

    If you need this meal to get the food in then any one can get kcal in on waking. Blender – protein powder, avocado/walnut or macadamia nut oil, ice, milk or coconut milk and if needing carbs a banana/oats/rice flour. Loads of ice and this will be a pleasure to drink

    Just wondering what some of you guys do to accumulate steps in your day who are seated at a desk?

    Little bit of background i work in construction on remote sites in the middle of nowhere, i work at a desk and have very little reason to get up and do not have scope to go for a walk at lunch as there is literally not even a road for me to walk on etc.

    I wake at 05:30, leave for work at 06:00 and get to the gym for around 18:15. I then normally get indoors for around 19:30 by this point i probably have done around 4-5k steps in my whole day.

    So i try to aim for 10,000 steps in a day and find myself needing to do around 40 minutes walking in the evening.

    It just feels like im constantly on the go, by the time ive eaten dinner, prepped food for next day, steps, washed up etc, eaten pre bed meal etc etc and then its 21:30 and thats when i need to start thinking about getting ready for bed as ideally we want a good 7 hours sleep.

    I just feel at the moment i have no time to chill out, is this just something that everyone feels and essentially im being a bit precious?

    Go for a walk on your lunch?

    Park car further away and walk to work?

    Do PWO cardio.

    All easy options

    NEW PREP low – 200.5lb

    Look best ive looked this prep and maybe ever in terms of detail, muscular size and balance. Still bits on glutes and top of quads to come off but I feel this will all come this next week when I make some supplement changes.

    Hi mate, do you notice any difference between using the beef protein from bulkpowders compared to a more expensive whey isolate?

    Also i know you have said you give clients a more premium product and then you link to a bulk powders product? Do you notice any difference between clients who utilize the expensive vs the more cheaper?

    Hello buddy.

    So any premium isolate still gives me issues. I can’t touch dairy at all.

    Year round I use beef iso when need to from bulk powders. It digests good , cheap n tastes ok.

    During prep I buy the more expensive MRE lite or a vegan one as these are thicker n I can make into a paste / ice cream for taste but that’s only time I justify cost.

    Usually I prefer as much whole food as possible

    As I stated I prefer to get as much from solid food as possible. However if all myself or a client could get was 150 and they had to get 100g from protein powder then that’s all we could do.
