What are your thoughts on the diet protocol, does it seem a legitimate way to maintain low body fat while making steady muscle gains?
It’s one of the most famous books in bodybuilding I would say n many have had success with the methods

are you talking about dose of protein? or dose of insulin in the studies?

The initial study started as to just see if insulin increased MPS but due to findings in each study the subsequent studies they adjusted things like dose, amino infusion, where the insulin was administered etc.
I think I read in total about 9 studies in the one article before they concluded it but still didn’t come too a definitive answer due to the variables that kept coming into play.
But I guess my question wasn’t really so much around the dose or amount of protein but more around if this was also apart of the reason Jordan favours insulin and also having increased nutrients around the workout perimeter due to being potentially able to increase the rate of MPS even further for that period of time if that makes sense?[/quote]There is a balance of literature that shows intra work EAA is useful and not useful.
So it’s up to us as individuals to read that n make our own conclusions.
Many of us believe it is of use n that’s we we use them.
It is also true MPS must be followed by MPB but this is occurring during a workout no matter what due to the muscle being worked.
It will also occur at other times.
Regarding insulin. It’s been shown insulin is not needed to maximise MPS. This is insulin created by CHO.
When researching if using insulin will help your never going to find any to help confirm or deny that as it won’t ever be done.
However do enough research on insulin n you see it makes some sense.

EAA for me.
Science shows EAA maximises PS without carbs.
For the average lifter the diet will provide more than sufficient energy for them to train maximal n progress.

Considering blood work shows injecting test E increases blood levels that day id say it’s fine.
I would be tempted to front load although the new age bodybuilding guru will cry it’s not necessary
While it may not be necessary in this situation it may help based on recent blood work I’ve seen n how quick synthetic test takes effect

This makes no sense. Leaning out means dropping body fat low does it not ?
Anavar is always a nice addition. 50-100mg training days

Surely this depends on how many cycles and of what he’s previously done as well as how much muscle mass he carries? Would it not be more beneficial for him to start low, get what he can out of that dose then increase and keep doing that? [/quote]
That sounds like over thinking to me.
Several things to consider.
Most but 50mg tablets cos they are cheaper
Most 50mg tablets are under dosed. Usually around 35-45mg , usually closer to 35 from what I’ve seen.
I only said training days not ED. So even if goes 100mg n is lucky maybe getting 80mg. Which is around 55mg daily.
This is enough to give any one good results. Tapering with these small things is a sure fire way to make slow progress n be disappointed

Been in Scotland all weekend with my fiancée for joint bday celebration
I brought beef isolate and macadamia oil n made sure I got 3 x 60g protein / 10g fat shakes a day plus 2 solid meals.
Loads of walking n eating has been good as always.
Had a lovely cookie Friday n a huge scone yesterday which was nice n didn’t upset my stomach
I drank to much both Friday n sat lol but life is for living.

There different batches so it’s likely they just got delivered different lids.
You have to consider this isn’t ran like Microsoft although rohm are pretty good n there will be variations in these things

Gas
FeelMonitor over 2-3 hours post meal.
I honestly don’t like the idea of mixing a warm solid meal n then a whey n ground rice meal so to speak
Just feel that’s a lot of different textures n foods going on top of each other after the solid meal with veggies etc
I’d go ground rice , whey etc immediately Pwo
Then solid meal 60-90 minutes later
